  1. Failing to win the title tarnishes what has been a special season, but don't be downhearted I expect a victory as we are the best team in the div. Certainly will not be 0-0 Pukki to notch a couple at least.
  2. Early in the season Krul shot himself in the foot with errors against WBA and Millwall in particular, not a good start but came strong and proved many of us wrong. But his handling and footwork was poor at other times. Needs replacing with keeper who can do the things this team requires of a keeper but Ederson and Alyson cost over £60m may not get one on our budget so Tim might stay first choice.
  3. Promotion was on the line, I suggest probably not. Bielsa not renowned for such sportsmanship see spygate.
  4. Promotion was in 2005 not 04. Whatever but whoever were the best team it is not arguable that the 2018\9 is far more exciting and entertaining than City team promoted. We shall see how the team performs and stays in PL to gauge the better team Worthy and Neil's team lasted 1 season so can be discounted.
  5. Some options suggested on here had little or no experience of playing let alone PL experience. We shall need a mobile effective back up to Pukki and maybe a replacement if Pukki proves to be one season wonder. Not sure Srebeny, Rhodes or Mills fit the bill need to find gem from abroad. I can as a striker in PL silly talk he is a winger with no first team experience. Dennis could be a wildcard. We will see but need to score goals in PL to survive.
  6. ONE DEFEAT IN 13 yelled Wilder at a recent interview. Well that's nothing 0 defeats in 13 is better and 1 DEFEAT in 20 is even better.
  7. £20 million apparently the championship players as possible we could get maybe 2 for this unless out of contract. Think we need to look at PL loanees like Reece James and Harry Wilson dependent on play offs. But think Pl managers will look at City performance and feel City a good place to send their promising youngsters more than in the past but even those will not come cheap. Sure Webber and Farke have some gems in mind to supplement the squad as supplements will be needed not all of the current squad will make the elevation. Thompson, Mills and Cantwell would benefit from toughening physically and a full season behind them.
  8. Love to be there but 5.00 am start to see players from a distance not hear the interviews get bustled among the crowds sorry but I am out. Shame as was there 2005 at a more amenable time missed 2011 and no celebs 2015. Everyone going have fun time
  9. Apparently for the second time in last 10 years City were on the brink of administration in the summer of 2018. The first being in 2009 when relegated to Div 1, Maddison sale meant administration was avoided. Now with PL money perhaps won't fear administration for a couple of seasons. How did the Board allow the club to get into this parlous financial state. In last 10 years we have had 4 seasons of PL money and 3 of parachute payments. Webber has stated "money has been p****ed up the wall, can they be trusted not to do the same again? Webber will not be here forever and The Delia financial management structure will again take us to the brink unless lessons previously unlearnt are learned. We have a second messiah to save the club who has worked miracles on a shoestring. Need to ensure he is not as profligate as a Hughton or a Neil. I am sure Danniel will be prudent Webber will expect nothing less. Its after the eventual relegation which hopefully will be more than one season and the resultant fire sale of our starlets when we will be back in the Champs under the ineffective management of a Roeder type that the finances will ebb away. And we look into the abyss of administration is mooted again. Delia et all surely cannot find another messiah to come to our rescue in 3 or 4 years time. Its about time the club learned to manage and budget finances in a prudent manner. Can we expect this it is unlikely based on previous experience maybe time to get a proper financial brain on the Board the Leicester kind of guy. Farke and Webber will go onto better things and leave these clowns to blow the money on what they see as magic beans. No worries next season but what happens next!

  11. Perhaps we might attract loan players from the top 6 which has not always been the case as they might play ball if they thought they might get preference for moves for our starlets e.g. Aroons, Lewis and Godfrey in the future. Better loanees I.e. talent wise on the younger side to fit the current team ethos would be welcomed.
  12. Panic not so sure concern yes that what was looking to be a great season is looking so great lar. However being a long term City supporter we should expect it was never going to be straightforward. The enjoyment is being diminished by our failure to get over the line against teams we really ought to be putting to the sword.
  13. Let us get there and worry about the defence just hope they are good enough to get promoted at the moment we look jaded and might miss out. This will affect everyone and might never be in this position again. Worrying times.
  14. Twenty quid on Sheff Utd to win. Then put the winnings on Leeds to win. Unless we win today when hope there will no money won today. Worried about today until the job is done.
  15. Need to win if even to keep confidence of supporters high. Do not need the lack of creativity of AT, must be Leitner must go for it.
  16. 2 year contract not sure if injured but a waste on the bench if fit. totally eclipsed at DM by Tom T. Need improved DM if promoted. Thanks Alex and Goodbye.
  17. We have a healthy goal difference which could have been crucial however expect it to evaporate over the last two fixtures. Unless Ipswich want to play for pride expect huge scores for Sheff Utd and Leeds. This would be Lambert's ultimate up yours to City. Let's ensure goal difference is irrelevant.
  18. To go with the same team will affect the atmosphere on Friday. Going a goal down again will bring pressure and to come back a third time is unlikely. We must start much stronger apply the pressure to the opposition.
  19. Lewis was also at Luton before joining City.
  20. What odds can I get for failing to get promoted? I'd feel a whole lot happier putting on fifty quid safe in the knowledge I will not get paid out.
  21. To go with the same team for third game in a row puts promotion in doubt, a win against Wednesday is necessary. 3 wins is the championship, 2 wins means promotion but play similarly to the previous games any wins are doubtful. And relying on Emi to win the last 3 games for us is too dangerous to consider. We have been ineffective in last 2 games, lacking creativity and laboured passing until the experienced midfielders have b3en introduced. Vrancic in for C antwell, Moritz for MacLean. SheffWed will not be unduly keen on beating us if it opens door for United but we cannot rely on this. We need to go for a win from the off rather than save playing for last 10 minutes. By sticking with this formation and failing to get promotion Farke will be blamed hope someone can talk some sense into him. Leitner and Vrancic should be seething at Farkes intransigence I know many on here agree.
  22. According to BBC City only one of last 11 games played on a Sunday. Probably because these were PL fixtures not Champs. Need to put it right tomorrow.
  23. Hope everyone has got on who thought this would be a good idea. Apologies if anyone bet at Paddy Power whose idea of fixed odds is to vary the odds in their favour hoever Ladbrokes odds are as advised.
  24. At least not Hooper who used to be PL ref but couple of weeks ago was Reffing at Oxford Utd not even Championship. Ilderton also still around the lower leagues unfortunately.
