1. Shock of recent years from our incompetent management. To give this guy a 5 year contract beggars belief! He has done absolutely nothing to justify that sort of commitment. Time and again he has had the opportunity to make his mark and on every occasion he has failed.
2. Well done Notts Forest, Borehamwood. Well played Plymouth, Kidderminster. Performances of these 'lower league' teams showed up the so called better sides. Fine start by Cantwell.....NOT!!!
3. Whilst every 'responder' has so far been supportive of Webber nobody has answered my original point ie Webber supplied the Summer recruits that he admits were largely 'investments' not day one Prem performers. Though how he regards the headless chicken (Sargent) as even an investment is beyond me! Farke was expected to survive in the Prem from, you guessed...day one. Once again sent to the battle field without appropriate ammo!
4. A couple of weeks ago Stuart Webber confirmed that our Club was not in a position to sign established Premiership players and too much was expected of our Summer recruits who were investments for the future. Daniel was therefore asked to establish our Club in the Prem with these youngsters minus Emi and what seems to be a disenchanted Cantwell. Sent to 'war' once again without a rifle and with rookie 'troops'. I believe the signings with the exception of Normann have been less than inspiring - who exactly was responsible for that? I'll ask again - WAS THE WRONG MAN SACKED?
5. Borussia Dortmund have sacked their Manager and the assistant is taking charge until the end of the season. Let us just hope that they will not come calling!
6. .........says Paddy Davitt. Perhaps a couple of decent signings in the close season would have made the difference! Are you listening Mr Webber? Sorry I forgot, we could n't afford it!
7. Very impressed with Cantwell last night, likewise with Godfrey. NOT impressed with our new keeper nor Klose whose best days seem to have gone. Playing out from the back is all well and good but to obsessively pass to defenders who have already been closed down by the opposition is a dangerous game!
8. What has happened to Alex? No sight or mention of him of late. A key player earlier this season.
9. I am completely surprised though gladdened by the progress our Club has made this year....may it long continue. The administration of our Club too appears to be on a much sounder footing with reductions in pay to a more realistic level, and better players contracted to the Club so that in the unfortunate circumstance that we have to sell we are adequately remunerated. Although I have read the explanation given by Mr Webber re Daniel Farke's contract situation I remain concerned as, the natural course of action would be to sign him up too, in view of the progress made. I sincerely hope that the reason for this is not to enable them to move on 'as a package' at the season end!
10.
You''re twisting what he said, Farke gave an honest appraisal of a performance. Every commentator has said we looked good over several periods of the game and that Leeds scored against the run of play - through errors at the back, so even your twisted intepretation of what he said is not so far wrong.
BUT....we lost 0-3 and by all accounts were "overrun" for most of the remaining 70m! Our defence/goalkeeper looked vulnerable and we hardly had a shot on target. Farke continues match after match to claim we ''were the better side'' despite the defeats and that wore thin weeks ago. Sideways/backward possession counts for zilch!
11. Could anybody that was at the match confirm Farke''s claim that Leeds were ''struggling'' and that we were the better side. Again the ridiculous statistics (we won 60% of our duels) and it was only three small errors that prevented us winning.......apparently!!! This man is a dreamer!!
12.

"There''s been so many ups and downs since 2004. Not just downs...." The trend in recent years has been very much ''down''. Even when we surprisingly gained promotion (via the playoffs) our inept leaders had n''t a clue or any desire to retain that status. They knew not where to look for reinforcements for our squad so did nothing with the inevitable result. They were not even capable of organising matches for preseason! They only resorted to the Director of Football role because since McNally nobody on the board would have a clue where to look for a capable Manager. As it turned out neither did the Director of Football!!!
I rather think that point was lost on you. Try not isolating those few words from the rest of my post.
Agree Nutty there have been ups generally created by individuals long gone. The failure to capitalise on those ups and back those that were responsible for them make the individuals that remain culpable for where we find ourselves. We are now so backed into a corner that it is difficult to see where we go from here.
