1.
I don''t get this culture now of sack, sack, sack, sack. We have a really good young manager who it''s worth sticking with, especially as the alternative is Nigel Pearson. Why would fans give that up because of one months bad form, or a relegation? As a club, we don''t have much going for us. Outside of Norwich, nobody really cares about us. Our youth academy is largely rubbish and has been for years. Our location means we struggle to get real decent players. When we do have something special, Alex Neil, why wouldn''t we get behind him and give him all our support?
Who says hes a really good young manager ? that''s just opinion , fact is he is doing worse than Hughton surely if he this great manager in the making he should be doing better or at least getting the basics right .
2. Saw a headline on the Newsnow site yesterday .. Neil blames Rudd for Villa defeat , not really the way to treat one of your younger players even if that is what you believe . The one thing that Neil seems to be preaching since the weekend is its the players fault and nothing to do with him .If we do not get 3 points Saturday he should be removed and give somebody else a go while there are still enough games left to make a difference .
3.

I believe most people said we should have appointed Lennon instead of Adams and that Adams would not get us promoted , they were spot on .As for Neil getting us up , well he improved us from 9th to 3rd (just about anybody would have improved on Adams) had almost a bye against that lot in the semi''s and did well in the final . He did good , but maybe he has been massively over hyped by some on here and he is not this great manager in the making . Hes looking worse than Hughton at the moment .
No, they really didn''t...
Yes they really did , the only ones who were behind the Adams appointment were the regular back the club whatever brigade on here , and just like they were with Gunn then Hughton they were wrong .Lennon was the fans overwhelming favourite for the job and the appointment of Adams was another amateur decision by this club who should have known better after the Gunn fiasco.

5.
All this talk of a best eleven is pretty strange.  We have a big strong squad and Neil is using it.  Each and every player in the squad is able to step into the first team if they are fit and on form  - and we would probably have a settled side if we were winning more. But hey, we''re losing games and the first thing people would be saying if we kept losing games and AN was picking a settled team, would be "change it" because we are losing!  You can''t have it both ways.
We have a big strong squad ? really . We are so light in all positions and that''s why we are the whipping boys .It does not matter which of the three strikers we start with because none of them score goals , it does not matter which defenders we start with because they all concede goals , the midfield which once looked our strongest part of the squad now has the likes of O''Neil and Mulumbu strolling around . We are so short of the required standard it really is miracle required time .
6. Its crazy ..but Derby have spent absolute millions the last two seasons had a monumental collapse and missed out on the play offs last season and appear to be stuttering again now, 5th and slipping will be seen as failure and most clubs do not stand for failure these days .
7. We are already down barring some sort of miracle , maybe a new manager now and a bit of a bounce might see us pick up a touch but as we are now i even believe Villa may leap frog us . We are without any shadow of doubt the worst team in the league at this moment in time .
8. Bournemouth remind me of us under Lambert , squad should not be good enough but team spirit and a motivational manager are going to see them ok  . We would not get out of the Championship using all those young players the top of that league is pretty big money stuff now, just look at the likes of Derby and Boro spent absolute millions and still promotion is far from certain.
9. One up top is supposed to strengthen the midfield to make us harder to beat , it does not work, teams still rip us to shreds only now we dont even look like scoring .As for Mbokani hes worse than poor cannot run , cannot beat a man , no shot on him but he can just about head a ball . Hooper and one other up front would have given us a much better chance of winning games .
10. Agree about this best man to take us back up nonsense , truth is any half decent manager would have got us up last season and the only reason we were struggling was because we appointed somebody who was not a manager .
11.

The Highton analogy is actually a good one but not in the way you imply. The lesson from Hughton is if you are going to do it don''t leave it too late!!
The lesson from Hughton is if you are not going to sack a manager early enough to make a difference, then don''t lose your nerve and sack him with a only few games to go. AN has depths to his character that will show their full worth over the coming weeks - and he simply has to be allowed to do his job to see if he can turn it round.   There is no magic wand or fairy godmother who can come in and make everything right.  It is up to AN his staff and players to get some lead in their pencils and get stuck in to what is necessary.
Why not start today then ? we wont come up against a team as weak as Villa again this season . Truth is we are a soft touch to everybody, Liverpool one win in six (Norwich) Stoke one win in six (Norwich) Villa should really be the last straw .
12. His big plan is the players have to show some balls , he is hopelessly out of his depth sacking him would be the kindest thing to do .
13.
I do have that feeling, though am positive because we have an absolutely brilliant championship team and AN as a manager so would expect a swift return to the PL like last time, though am more confident because we actually have a manager this time. Providing we can keep the players here like we did last time then we''ll be fine if we do go down. When the board doesn''t spend the money though what else do the fans really expect. The momentum from the previous season lasted a while, but to expect the team to gel like watfords team has is asking a lot. There''s still a lot to play for, but it''s not looking good.
We have a fantastic Championship team ? really , take out those that will leave and those that probably need moving on like Martin and we will have a shell of a squad . Take a look at our strikers we only own Jerome and Lafferty  , and also take into consideration a lot of Championship clubs are spending sums of money that we would not in that league . I very much doubt we would bounce back again , we only managed it via the backdoor route last time .As for your trust in AN i think almost everybody is starting to see that he has been massively over hyped by some City fans , he looks the worst in the Premier by a wide margin .
14. And when the Premiership money runs out we would turn into a mid table Championship club .
15.
Naismith has been good and gives us something different. Pinto looks dodgy and Klose is up in the air. However if we do get relegated I hope we do everything we can to hold on to Brady and Naismith as those guys will be great in that league.
Brady did not want to stick around at Hull why would Norwich be any different , Naismith i suspect would want out .
16. Should of spent the lot on Afobi instead of those three , not one of them has improved us .
17. Not much point as i doubt there''s a manager on the planet that could keep City up , players are the problem its hard to name any that are really premiership standard and some would struggle in the Championship . Hooper got another couple today and i would still have preferred him up front than the likes of Mbokani, Jerome or Bamford , strikers should be able to put the ball in the net ours don''t .  Midfield , O''Neil shown the door at QPR , Mulumbu shown the door at West Brom yet some bright spark thinks they are going to be good enough for us , laughable we are miles behind even the likes of Bournemouth .
18. Rodgers said going back to Swansea would be a backward step can you really see him wanting to take on this shambles ? Nigel Pearson got Leicester safe from a worse position last season , stick with Neil and we are gone , such a terrible defensive setup today hoping to get a draw .
19. Fight is what we are missing , we amble around the pitch as if nothing matters , god knows what squad we will have next season as all the new signings will want off and the likes of Martin and Bassong need shipping out . Everything at the club is very very stale including the owners.
20. Neil has to go he makes Hughton look like a top manager , not had a decent striker at the club all season and Bamford on loan was never going to be enough . Going to need a whole new Championship side next season .
21. Powder Puff strikers , poor midfield ,sh1t defence and a clueless manager , thats why we are going down .
22.

If O''Neil is the answer then im afraid it just shows we really are not a top flight club , hes a aging journeyman no more than that .
Fuck it, let''s have fun with you.How old is he? and based on that age and the amount of clubs he''s had, what makes you claim he''s a journeyman?
32/33 Norwich is his 7th club , to me that''s a journeyman and if you are not wanted by QPR you are not the saviour of Norwich .Although you happy clapping idiots will cling to any straw however small .
23. If O''Neil is the answer then im afraid it just shows we really are not a top flight club , hes a aging journeyman no more than that .
24. No , not a chance only we could spend £20 million plus and end up looking worse , no way are there 3 teams worse than us .
