The youngsters were probably not ready for last season, especially given that it was a relegation battle. Over the summer i think Adeyemi and Smith have really grown and matured.

Lappin great attitude and really offers the team something on the left wing, especially with Holt up front. Hooly can be brilliant but can be awful. He can''t really be played on the left because when he drifts he leaves the left back exposed. If both could be incorporated in the same system it would be brilliant but i think it''s one of those situations when you want to play more than 11 players.

Okay going forward. Can''t defend at all, has an absolutely horrible attitude.

I think Spillane should play right back purely because Jono can''t defend and shouldn''t play for norwich ever again.

With Lappin playing as well we have the stability down the left and have good crossing for holt to get on the end of.

Regarding Jimmy Floyd he said that if he was 25 he would have picked him up himself. To me that indicated him ruling out the prospect of JFH coming as a player.

Worst players on saturday were1. Nelson2.Semmy3.Theo4.Doc

I think they were very average and it was idiotic defending by us who gave them at least 5 glorious opportunities.Platt and Lisbie did the simple things well and it completely bamboozled our defence.

1. Semmy awful, theo had little option without catching it for a backpass.2. Doc should have done better. Nelson should have stuck with his man. Theo should have kept hold of it.3. Nelson running away from Platt.4. Shocking positioning from Theoklitos5. Nelson didn''t challenge in the air. Theoklitos came out and got stranded.6. Nelson easily beaten by Platt to chest down to the runner with little tracking from midfield.7. Nelson done easily and Theoklitos charges out like a muppet. Doc leaves his man who scores.A complete comedy of errors mainly from Nelson and Theoklitos, i would say Nelson more so.

Colchester looked very average but we would have done better playing an U11 side.

The two fans yesterday will get a ban for their passion, whereas Delia gets nothing. Thats the double standard.

Pattison is awful. The last time i saw him, he barely left the centre circle and left his CM partner to do the running for him. As for cover on the left, i would much prefer Lappin, he can actually cross and pass the ball whereas Pattison just kicks into space and hopes a yellow shirt can get to the ball.

Maybe we can just not play the useless git. He has one good game in a blue moon and his attitude stinks. We should never let him play in a yellow shirt again.

Semmy was the worst player in the squad last season. Physically he has all the attributes to make a great player but he has no brain at all and if he does it certainly isn''t connected to his feet. The only thing more frustrating about him is his attitude.
