1.
Eurovision is a good way of ensuring a persons pop career dies.
No, it is a good way to ensure their pop career never takes off.
2.
thinly veiled we should of kept lewis thread
Should HAVE. I am trying not to turn into a grammar Nazi, but this really bugs me.Also, it wouldn''t hurt to use some capitals.
3. I felt a bit stupid when I checked the answers and realised the only one I hadn''t got was Huckerby. Especially as he went through my head whilst I was filling it out.
4. Shinawatra has denied transfer listing the whole squad, and that seems the only thing the article is basing itself on.Unfortunately.
5. I''d take most of them, but realistically, how many would want to play for us than less than £10,000 a week? Not many.
6. Signing unproven foreigners is always a gamble, as they are generally hit and miss. For one Peter Halmosi for example, you get a David Strihavka, a Zsolt Laczko and a Gabor Bori.
7. Olivier Kapo.http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/article.html?in_article_id=147599&in_page_id=46
8.
Agreed.....Townsend is of course English, yet wins caps for Eire. The same with Ekoku for Nigeria.  Which brings me to the question of should you only be allowed to represent the country you were born in?    Owen Hargreaves , born and raised in Canada then played in Germany..
Well at least it''s better than the likes of Marcos Senna and Mariano Pernia. They have no Spanish ancestry, went over to play there in their mid-twenties, and ended up playing for them in the last World Cup.
9.
Tom, This link might be of interest http://falearning.thefa.com/docent/bin/docentisapi.dll/lms,thunder,2151/?CMD=LOGIN&file=frameset.jsm I am told though that to progress to the higher qualifications and ultimately a pro licence, the FA are a bit funny about who they allow to take them. Basically, if you are not an ex pro, you won''t be allowed to progress too far.
The UEFA Pro licence is invitation only. I think the rest are open to everyone... but I am not certain.
10. The real question raised in this thread is why didn''t we sign Jaaskelainen?
11.
I have a feeling that QPR are going to be awesome next season, the Chelski of the Championship, have they got a new manager yet, or are all these deals being done by others?
Others.I think 95% of the fans of the other 23 clubs will want to see QPR fail badly next season.
12. Premier League relegation battle with Derby or Championship relegation battle with Norwich?Assuming you are a neutral, which Earnshaw is, I think I know what we''d all rather do.
13.
Players can be signed now whatever there situation, but they won''t officially join there new clube when the window opens on July 1st.  Also some deals such as bosmans can be agreed to go through on July 1st, with contracts typically expiring on 30th June.
Best explanation.
14. Teams will not give pro deals to youngsters if they are only allowed a certain amount: they will make sure they get the experienced, first team players first and then only have room for one or two teenagers.
15. I would be very surprised if Roeder didn''t make a move for Ramage, and I would''ve though that Ramage would''ve liked to team up with his mentor. But QPR''s money and ambition (mainly the former) mean they will more than likely get whoever the hell they want.
16. Dong has proved himself to be useless, Rochemback would never join us and Mendieta''s wages would cost a bomb.Should be in the transfer section as well...
17. What makes everyone think he left for the money? Surely the fact that Derby were a Premier League team and we were a mid-table Championship side had something to do with it?
18.
I doubt he knows how to operate a compooter...
Haha, just what I was going to say!He is a legend though; I love the bloke.
19.
I would join the network game.. but my computer doesnt let me do one! anybody else have this problem or know why? anyway .. if you set one up. give me the code and I will try again.
I think you have to have Hamachi. Tough to set up an online game without it.
20. So what do we need then?Goalkeeper if Gilks goes. Two centre backs.Right back.Left back.Another central midfielder possibly?A left winger, maybe two?Three strikers.
21. The decision to release Huckerby must''ve cost him four to six weeks.
22.
what do u all think? he showed a lot of promise on his loan spell at the club but since signing has run around a lot and showed lots of heart and commitment but, for the most part, hasnt show much ability...  Is he the next Andy hughes? I hope not.. i think Pattison is a good footballer but perhaps needs a large boot up the backside sometimes.... I dont think he''s "all bubble.. o squeek" like Hughes was though jas :)
I have been thinking the exact same thing lately.
23. Wolves have scored, so that means two games need to change for the Scum to get into the Playoffs.
24. At 2-1 and even 3-1 I wasn''t particularly bothered as we have nothing to play for, but 4-1 is getting out of hand.
