1.

Rasiak and Gow.
GET STUFFED!!!
Is there really a need for responses like this? "Double Striker Signing" is fairly unambigious as a title - you could quite easily expect this to be a rumour thread!
 2.
Sorry but any genuine fan would expect the board to sit down and hold talks with a bloke who is worth £1.7 billion and who has indicated publically that he wants to invest in the club. All this talk of "formal offers" is just excuses and (to coin a phrase from before) smoke and mirrors. Either sit down and talk with him or if what he is proposing is not acceptable (and it may well be unacceptable for a variety of reasons) let us know why. Its quite simple. Until this happens PR wise this is a disaster for the club as Cullum will continue to cause havoc through the media.
I think that''s unrealistic, Jim. Say you''re after an Ipod. Do all Ipod stockists come to you to offer their wares for you to choose? No; Peter is the one interested and if he wants to pursue this, he should make a move. I also appreciate that this is not a standard transaction - but do you think Cullums take overs have all begun by the firm he''s interested in buying approaching him?
 3.
So even if we say the shares are worth 15 pound each its still HALF of what the board valued them at yesterday. This is just scandalous!!!!!!!!
It''s negotiation. Delia and Co are entitled to get the best possible price for their work, and have set their stall. Give it time, it''ll happen if all the parties want it to happen at a mutually beneficial price.

 5.
This has the potential to be a great thread, or an extremely cringeworthy embarassment if tomorrow''s news isn''t so big afterall!
Do you not read things before replying?
Please note I am WELL AWARE WE DON''T KNOW ANYTHING YET, THIS IS ALL TONGUE IN CHEEK!
6. Well, on Rick Waghorn''s "The Ferret", Roeder speaks of making signings this weekend. In fact, here''s a one line quote which I''m sure Mr Waghorn won''t mind my sharing with non-subscribers. ""I wouldn''t take the weekend off," were Glenn''s parting words." Read into that what you will, heck it may very well be that news isn''t announced until monday even if signings are made, but it seems to me as if you can''t rule out the possibility of signings over the weekend.
 7.
Another supporter accepting any cheap old rubbish ....yawn .
Where do I say I accept it? I merely don''t condemn the guy before he''s even signed a contract, let alone pulled the shirt on! I don''t actually understand why people like you claim to be "supporters". Even your bloody username is an attack on the club. Why not go support Manchester Utd? It''d be better for everyone.
 8. I remember a time when Norwich City, fresh from a very successful Premiership campaign received a bid of £5mil from Blackburn Rovers for a certain Chris Sutton. Devastated though we were, Chris moved on and his replacement was Crewe''s Ashley Ward who had been performing well for them. He came here and some so called fans were knocking him as a Sutton replacement before he had even donned the shirt. That for me was the first time I had encountered such judgementalism in football. Now, it''s an every day part of the game.  Every player will be compared to the last successful player who played that position and comes out pretty much every time unfavourably. The examples are endless - how many players have been quoted as "No Mark Edworthy"? I remember that being said about Jurgen Colin before he''d even played. These days, this practice has expanded. Any player over 30 is "past it". Regardless of who it may well be. Any player on a free is obviously not very good as his previous club would''ve kept him if he was. Players from Scotland are all rubbish regardless. All these preconceptions from what? Some are born out of previous experiences with bad purchases. Others are from sheer prejudices. I for one look forward to seeing what Sammy Clingan can do for us - and if Andy Cole signs I will remain open minded as to his impact at this club. If it''s one thing football has taught me (and this is especially pertinent following the Croatia v Turkey game) is that football is an unpredictable game where the most unlikely of persons can be a hero.
 9.
So what another has been topping up their pension fund.
Another moaning detractor not actually giving players time to show what they can do. Yawn.
 10. I genuinely don''t believe that Ched would be available for less than £5mil. I do think that he is and will be available on loan. And I don''t mind saying that a Ched - Shola strike force is quite an exciting prospect.
 11. Absolutely incredible. It seems as if we''re about to pull of a signing that wiill rank amongst the most expensive in the clubs history at a time when we''re considered broke. If true and if he can keep fit then this will rank up there with the signings of Ashton and Earnie, IMO.
 12.
its all still rumours, come on people GET A GRIP
C.T. with respect, the Daily Mail aren''t reporting this as a rumour, they''re reporting this as on the verge. Take a look at what else they''re reporting as "on the brink" - Sidwell to Villa, for example. http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1027272/Villa-verge-securing-Chelsea-midfielder-Steve-Sidwell-4-5m.html I genuinely think we''re about to sign Ameobi.
 13.
If they do I''ll kill them.
[:D]
 14. The reason it hasn''t been announced is simply due to this legal wrangling.
