1. Was listening to the Charlton game on Radio Norfolk last week via my iPod . Decided to look at the possession stats on the BBC Sport website when we were 2-1 up (on the radio) only to find that on the BBC Sport website it was already 2-2 ! After further investigation it was apparent that the radio commentary was delayed by circa 3 to 4 minutes . Can anyone advise if this is always the case ,was this a one off , or was it in any way attributable to listening via an iPod and not a traditional radio ?
2. Seems like only yesterday that those Vila fans where chanting ''F&ck off McCleish'' and there''s only one Paul Lambert at our final game of the season a couple of years back. Guess its a big wheel that doesn''t go full circle . Sorry Mr Lambert , you did a great job for us and for that we shall be eternally grateful for, but I guess sometimes we all get a bit too big for our boots
3.

Adams was no doubt the cheapest option.
By your reasoning, Brown, Stringer and Walker were all ''the cheapest options''. They didn''t work out too badly though did they?
I think you will find that the world of football has moved on in the last 10 - 15 years lappinitup

5. Making Plans - by far the best post of the season so far !
6. Oh Morty, for Gods sake , wake and smell the coffee - your blind faith is admirable but just take your yellow and green specs off for one minute please and let it sink in what is going on.
7. Brilliant post , absolutely spot on . Pack his bags and send him back to Leeds tomorrow please
8. Lucky enough to sit in the Directors enclosure last year and noticed that Ewan Chester wore a long black coat
9.
Movement is class. Two great efforts both well saved by the Scummer. Could have had two today but for him, he''ll score goals alright.
You keep believing Warren. Oh, and Santa really does exist you know .
10.
Snodgrass had a decent game and his delivery was better than it has been recently. Not sure scapegoating is really necessary, we were comfortably the better side but we, again, failed to capitalise on the chances and positions created. Disappointing result, especially given how dominant we were, that domination is encouraging, the failure to capitalise is worrying.
11. 1. Delia / MWJ - for sticking with us, getting rid of Doomcaster and bailing us out with more money 2. McNally - for appointing Lambert and Co and for his astute business brains 3. Lambert - for getting 110% out of each and every player regardless of their ability 4. Culverhouse - as above 5. Karsa - as above, apparently ! Grant Holt - immense in League One and raised his game to confound his critics in Champs and Prem 6. The fans - for sticking with the club in their 1000s despite being in League One 7. Foulger - again, always prepared to dig deep into his own pocket when we really needed him 8. Bowkett - was obviously very influential in persuading the financial institutions to re structure the debt in Autumn 09 when administration was looking likely 9 and 10 - maybe Simeon and Wessi but not sure really
12. I too found it quite funny - take no notice of the self appointed humour police
13. Just play the U18''s and have done with it
14. Think the sponsor is Glenn Lodge, the hotel at Bawburgh Golf Club
15. Get real C D Mullins, these guys haven''t cut the mustard for us . They create zero scoring chances for us and score no goals themselves. Next season we seriously need to look for quality replacements ? We no longer need to settle for second best
16. Zak - you answered your own question there -''the child looks sceptical to me, he knows he''s not in a good place''. If you find the image of some under privileged poverty stricken child funny then you clearly have a different sense of humour to me, and thankfully, the majority of the rest of the civilised world.
17. TIL-for once you were out of order, show some dignity and back off , going on the offensive is only questioning your credibility .
18. Not much of a cook myself but best place for Delia recipes etc is www.deliaonline.com Thoroughly recommend it
19. The most sensible thread in the history of this message board, well done OP. And there was me getting forever frustrated thinking that I was the only football supporter in the world who realised that whether it was a business, a football club, or just a weekly household budget, the books somehow have to balance and therefore you cut your cloth accordingly.
