1. I admire your resolve Dicky. But you have to admit that these problems were apparant last season and have translated to this season as well. Some of the decisions made this season are completely baffling by both board and manager and all we get is spin words like ''infinite patience'' and ''accute concern'' in return. There are plenty of proven managers who would take the job. Even in the championship there are managers who do a far better job than worthy considering their resources (Billy Davies, Steve Coterill, Mike Newell). After all our support base and infastructure is far better than some premiership clubs. The potential for bigger things is there, it just needs someone to push it on from bottom to top. What I mean by that is having youth players coming through, buying players with potential to play at the highest level. Not spending transfer cash on loans when you have players fit to play in the problem positions. As for people staying at home in front of their computers, well if you go then fair play but people don''t want to fork out £30 a ticket to sit in an old stand, spend £15-20 to get down there and the extras when they have a 95% guarantee that the performance will be lame. I done it last season and all I got in return was a decent comeback at Newcastle, the majority of other away performances consisted of kamikaze defending and giving world class players all the time in the world as we tried to play a passing game against superior teams.
2.
Some of you say Martin Allen, forgive me but what has he actually done or achieved?
Taken a club on the brink of relegation and the threat of administration to the play-offs on peanuts. Two great cup runs, spots a player for under £10K and sells in a potential seven figure deal less than a year later. Also got the youth set-up playing well and getting results. Plus he''d be very funny and writes great daily updates on the website :)
3. Yawn, he''s moved on and hopefully he does the business for them. It can only be good for us, we''ll get more money
4. Have you seen us play this season? It doesn''t matter what club you are, wether you have a nice seat and a roof. What counts is on the pitch and it''s not been up to scratch. I just can''t get exicited by what I''ve seen this season and I''m not alone.
5. Yes but Warnock has won promotion at the majority of the clubs he''s been at, so he hardly sucks at management
6.
yes you are able to fly people in if its in a 1 hour distance of travel why are''nt we doing this already then
You do know how much flights cost right?
7. It has to be Francis, an unknown quantity who at £260K was a bargain. Scored a lot of important goals for us but sadly turned a bit sour towards the end
8. I''m not happy with some of the decisions and signings this season but I''ll still renew because I enjoy the buzz of being at Carrow Road. Plus once you give up a season ticket at Carrow Road it can be a long time before you get the chance again.
9. Tonight has been a mix of feelings. It''s like winning the lottery and the discovering that 100 other people have won the jackpot on the same night. We mustn''t kid ourselves, we were poor with a £7M striker and Earnshaw ain''t going to change that until other matters are addressed
10. Well that''s a bit stupid isn''t it. We''ve been play-offs and champions after 9 years of struggle. Unfotunately it''s all gone downhill since then
11. To be honest I''m not expecting much action, we''ll probably get someone in on a Graham Stuart type deal till the end of the season and that''ll be it
12. I''ve just seen his peachy cross for the third goal, we''re definitely not going to sign him as we can''t be having anyone on the right with the ability to put a decent ball in
13. I wouldn''t be surprised if he gets a better offer from another club and leaves
14. No, Grease is the word amongst fans and it got truth, hell it''s even got meaning
15. No thankyou, I''m still reeling from that game at Portman Road where he done his best not to score.
16. Have you seen him play, he ain''t that great and certainly not worth the potential sums banded around to Wolves
17. Who says we haven''t made bids, for example we could have bid for Jerome but any interest would no doubt get Sheff Utd sniffing around again.
18. Worthy is coy on transfers, classic example is dismissing the notion of Damien Francis only to sign him within 48 hours
19. No thanks, he wasn''t that great when he was here. Shackell''s comparable and wouldn''t cost a dime
20. Thye''re both equally to blame, the board for not providing funds to significantly strengthen in the summer. Worthy for letting proven championship players go and getting mediocrity in. West Ham are a different kettle of fish, when they came down they had to sell a lot of quality players and replacing them takes time. However I don''t think anyone can deny that Pardew signed some very good players for very little in the likes of Mullins, Reo-Coker, Etherington, Harewood etc. West Ham''s movement and passing the other week eclipsed anything I''ve seen from a Norwich side under Worthington and frankly that''s whay we are where we are and West Ham are holding their own in the top flight. We nearly stayed up because we were fortunate that there were three other teams as bad as us. We didn''t win a single away game all season, on that form you''re going down. In the promotion season, we had a lot of luck and the fortune of a settled side. If Deano does appear in claret this week then good luck to him because I can see him scoring goals in that team and having a chance of making it to Germany.
21. 1) ashton : 3mill. Noone can dispute this was a good move. We were willing to pay the money but his record in the championship for his age would tell anyone he wasn''t a flash in the pan. 2) jonson : about a million. didnt set the prem alight, but worthy got his money back on him. Done nothing in his time here and getting 700k back doesn''t really help you when you''ve been relegated. 3) doherty : again, about a million. arguably our best player this season so far. Bought when we were top flight and had a reputation of being pretty bad as a defender, Worthy plays him as a striker and the results were not good. Being our best player this season is not hard condsidering those around him. 4) huckerby : undisclosed, but probably about a million again. no comments needed. Already proven at championship level as a match winner, a monkey could have told anyone this.   I look at other clubs in this division and they manage to bring in players from lower leagues who do the business. We end up with Keith Briggs and end up paying over £150k for 2 games. Let''s face it the scouting and worthy''s judgement are pretty poor and this season has proved it.
22. No it''s the player who was cast aside from a promotion winning team and not replaced with anyone significantly better. He never ''spat the dummy'' as you say and didn''t really want to go as any other player wouldn''t want to. But why stay when you''ve been told you''re not in thr managers plans. One things for sure, Malky will get an excellent reception from the moment he takes to the turf to when he leaves
