Reluctant to use buy back scheme again.
Commonsense replied to Bradwell canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It’s true that that is the current state of play for Watford, but the Liverpool game was showing sold out on occasions and certainly extra tickets appeared for Leicester. I assume that what you see is the dynamic picture, which means once people put their seats on buyback, they appear on the plan. This implies that the number of Watford seats available could rise again. -
Yup, because England now are poor, not like all those fantastic teams they had in the 70s, 80s, 90s etc!! Maybe you should apply for a job on talk sport!!
-
Do you think you could go and play elsewhere. This is a serious thread for football fans, not smarmy tawts.
-
It was a good gesture. However, how do you think those exciting new players and their salaries are paid for?

Have you tried farting on a regular basis? That usually works. -

You may be right. However this was an event attended primarily by 18-21 year olds were the number who had been double vaccinated at least 2 weeks previously is going to be much lower than for the average football crowd. -
Not for nothing is it known as talkwank. The magazine When Saturday Comes has a column based on them called Talk Balls. some of their comments are not dissimilar to the click bait we get on here sometimes.

To help it is worth noting we were playing a team who have just spent 3 times what we got for Emi on one player. Every single one of their team is worth a great deal of money, but hey-ho we lost. Man City and Chelsea are not typical teams, that’s why they contested the Champions League final. Get a fcuking grip!!

As a club we will get left behind
Commonsense replied to Mullet's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yup you’re right. We’re slap in the middle of a huge metropolis. Surely there’s a sheikhdom somewhere looking to buy. It’s so easy to just dismiss all the failed examples isn’t it? By the way the list of failures of so called mega rich owners is considerably longer than the list of successes you quote. still we did lose to Man City. Who would have thought that possible? -

I think Reading are currently trying that model and also have a transfer embargo. They’ve previously had Russian owners and Thai owners as well. Clearly none of them have worked!! -

I’m sure Derby, Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland fans would swap places too. The pant wettest on here are frankly an embarrassment, If only we had spent billions like Manchester City and PSG. How dare we be behind them? -

Southampton’s seem to be doing ok to me!!! -
Leicester are a top team. We need to be looking at the upcoming games against Watford, Burnley and Brighton. We all knew the first few games would be tough, but I do agree that today’s performance was poor.

Away tickets for Man City

I don’t think that this is true. They sold out at about Group 3. -
Away tickets for Man City
Commonsense replied to Commonsense's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think you can pick them up from the Fan Hub in the city. My concern is that it sold out before lots of members got access to tickets. We are selling away memberships under false pretences if we artificially limit tickets but charge people for membership. -
According to the club site we are taking 1450 fans today. This seems remarkably low for an away game in the Prem. The game sold out to Norwich fans well before it reached lower priority groups. I can’t believe that 1450 is the maximum Man City allow, so is this yet another ticket office ****-up? Danny Casey has some serious questions to answer. Could this be taken up by the Supporters Panel?
-
Maybe because BT don’t have the contract for the EFL cup and Liverpool don’t start in it until the next round!! It does raise the question of why it’s at 7pm though.

No live coverage of Man City game?

Everton away on sale tomorrow
Commonsense replied to Greavsy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No idea. Let’s add everybody’s travel cost in when quoting prices, allowing for the fact that they all start from different places. Your post was frankly bizarre. -

But it is £26 without. You don’t have to travel on Club Canary. It’s in London so just get the train!! -
Even better news Pete, it’s not either or it’s both!!
-
Yes. I can’t understand why they took so long to announce the details. Also why is it starting at 7 pm?
