1.

Yeah cos im sure Paul Lambert takes the time out to read these forums. A pointless thread from a pointless poster.....again.
I''ve said it before and I''ll say it again.  Women and football don''t mix.  Ban them.
Cross plys and radials don''t mix and can be very dangerous. Women and football don''t mix and can be very tedious.
2.
o wow a post count..... that has put my life on hold while i try and get as many as possible... it is full of mostly guys on here you will prob have the odd yer... ok every now and again, chatting is in womens blood.
After this post, I''ve worked it out...TOTTL''s real identity finally revealed... "I ain''t never even dun nuffin or nuffin ever right?" LOL!
3.
They should change it back to Nationwide division One.
I reckon Endsleigh should give it another shot then the club can get rid of those ''On Loan To The Endsleigh'' T-Shirts they had printed in 1995. Has anyone still got one of those BTW?
4.
The most undeserevd winner of the player of the season award in its history! I know of only one person who voted for him and the old boy isn''t always quite with it hence the reason he voted for Croft I think!
Totally overrated last season but we were trying to pick the best of a bad bunch. The decision is a damned sight harder this year - how on God''s earth do you choose?
5.
Can''t believe there is a thread on ''keepers and no-one has mentioned Theo yet [:P]
He''s not a keeper.
6.
I only support City.[:|]
I would love to hear a sentence including the words; ''Ipswich, results & expunged'' at some point in the future.
7.
Simon tracey!
Mervyn Cawston. The most Norfolk name for a player ever. Our loss was Chicago Sting''s gain.
8.
I bumped into a Yeovil fan whilst having a pint in the George in Dereham last week....he latched onto my City shirt His take on it (which is probably about right) is that teams like Yeovil spend a lot of energy simply trying to stop us.  They may manage it for 70 or 80 minutes but then they run out of gas and we just steamroller them.  Theres also the psycological fact that even if you take the lead in injury time, Norwich have the strength to still hit back before the final whistle As said elsewhere the big test will be next season
This is true BH. I disctinctly remember us trying to do the same in the Prem. We matched and shut out Spurs and Liverpool for about 70 mins then went on to lose 2-0 in the last 20 minutes or so. There were other games that went a similar way that season too - hence not winning any of the first 14.
9. Not so long ago I asked for the link to this and it is now my ringtone. When my phone rings, my colleagues pi55 themselves but I don''t give a s4it - it''s a good time to be a Norwich fan again and long may it last!
10. Isn''t that Pogo Patterson from Grange Hill? Apologies to posters under 35 if you don''t know who I mean!
11. I know I posted this on the FFT article thread but it fits better on this one... I don''t want to pi55 on anybody''s chips but lets not forget the 2001-02 season when we met (and beat) Wolves in the Div 1 play-offs. They were top with 9 matches to play, having won 10 of their last 11 games and were miles ahead of the play-offs. They won just 2 more games and finshed third behind West Brom. They took years to live it down too after lots of ''we''ll never play you again''-type taunting of the Baggies. I remember we gave them loads of pi55-taking at Molineux in the play-off semi too. OK, this is an extreme example but it can happen...let''s make really certain before we celebrate, eh?
12. Because of the amount of time, passion and commitment I spend on NCFC every week, winning the league would rate more highly than an England success in the World Cup. Football at the very top level means less and less to me each season and has become so distant and such a media circus, I can''t relate to it or enjoy it as much anymore. (e.g. the endless coverage of the Terry/Bridge thing and bloody Cheryl & Ashley Cole) I''ve followed England abroad in World Cups too - sad isn''t it. I''ll still be in the pub for the games though!
13. To tidy this up; Bertrand - neither strong nor spectacular and always second best to Drury. Forgotten about him I was enjoying this season so much. Drury - come back please. Rose has filled in adequately but Drury gives me much more confidence.
14. Jesus wept - this is becoming like Wife Swap with message boards. Let''s spend a week on each other''s boards, shall we?
15. T''internet hasn''t reached Shropshire yet - You''ll have to wait until he returns from his loan for a response.

17. One ex-footballer unlikely to post on here is Big Keith O''Neill. One day about 15 years ago, I was in my bank and Big Keith strolls in with a gentleman friend. To cut a long story short, BK needs to pay a bill but does not seem to know one end of a pen from the other and is clearly foxed by the concept of filling in a cheque. So his ''friend'' has to complete the cheque for him. Despite being in the presence of a football genius, I managed to ask him about how he was going to elude the clutches of Matt Elliott during the following night''s League Cup tie against Oxford. I didn''t catch every part of his somewhat aggressive answer but the words ''f***ing'', ''sh*t'' and ''galah'' were definitely in there. Waccoe would welcome him but he''d need someone to type his posts.
18. McNally is proving to be the best non-playing signing this club has ever made. When I first saw him, I though "What an evil looking b**ta*d - I wouldn''t like to cross him" - and he is proving to be someone who gets things done in a no-nonsense way. I reckon we should ask Doomcaster for a rebate on the years of wages we paid to him for nothing more than standing on the corner of Carra Road looking smug on matchdays.
19. Terry also runs a funeral parlour on City Road - I wonder if he''d give us special rates at the Leeds match when their chances of being Champions finally die...
20. Don''t buy a shirt and choose something different to spend 40 quid on - you can buy Wii Fit for the same price or 20 match day pies - which path do you choose...
21. Wally! - Blimey with that level of profanity, you could give the posters on WACCOE a run for their money. I find tw@t gives a put down much more emphasis.
22. Bipolar doesn''t even start to cover it... On WACCOE tonight it''ll be how they now going to win the Champions League and Grayson is more of a genius than Alex Ferguson. On Saturday after the Saints put their third goal in, it''ll be how the team is a bunch of w**k*rs who have f**ked it up again and are not fit to wear the shirt and how anyone from Norfolk is a c**t and Grayson deserves to die and Beckford should be run out of town - the Judas f**ker. Or something equally balanced and well-observed.
23. newyorkcanary - "Completely random and I don''t know where else to ask this... but in England did you get the TV show Barney Miller? It was a sitcom about a New York Police station and aired from 1975 to 1982. I ask because I''m listening to the Tranmere Leeds match on the radio and Tranmere uses the TV show''s theme song as their warm-up music. I almost fell out of my chair it was so random. Superb song though.. all instrumental." Yes - totally random NYC but what a great show with Fish, Wojo and Nick. Great theme song - very laid back - a bit like the Tranmere defence.
