  1. I agree. As I hear he isn't encouraged to stay with us and hasn't signed a new contract. So as long as Sid is in front of him he will never get minutes on the pitch. At 60 minutes yesterday it was the ideal time to get Aboha on to show him we want him at the club, but no, we didn't rest Josh and we sure didn't show any commitment to Ken. So I agree with others, why did we sign Sid when we have our own youngsters needing game time? Ken Aboha will leave just like all the good young players, because we don't play them.
  2. Honestly, do we really want to get promoted? The squad is not ready or good enough, we need another year to rebuild. Maybe a new manager, who knows?
  3. The way I see it we deserve to be 6th on our 2024 performances and if we finish 6th or 7th I would consider that to be about right overall. We didn't do Ipswich any favours today, and if we beat them and they drop points today ( they are losing as I right) then we ought to be happy. This season we have had a lot of injuries and DW has taken half a season to work out how to get the best out of the lads. Another season rebuilding seems right to me. Fluke going up and we will get hammered every week. So overall I think another season at championship level is likely and acceptable.... and no VAR
  4. I thought Raleigh Chopper was a bike that kids rode in the 70's 😆
  5. The team colours for England v Belgium were both horrible, especially Belgiums. They looked like a mint chocolate ice cream. 🍦 😆
  6. How can that be allowed? It's like us having a Norwich born and bred, and secret ncfc supporter reffing our game on Saturday
  7. We were flowing and in total control, pressing, creating, breaking up play, in simple words we looked real class last night and looking for a comfortable win. Until that moment. So can anyone on here who has played at a good standard of football please tell me why we suddenly became passive just because we had one less player? Why couldn't we have continued to press and tackle in a new formation instead of inviting Boro onto us? Is it all in the mind of a team that suddenly thinks they must defend due to the inbalance of numbers? Couldn't the team just mentally switch that moment off, and just carry on being in control? For some reason it seemed to have switched the players focus off and we allowed Boro easily into the game, which was not happening before, and conceded two simple goals. I just don't understand why we crumbled mentally.
  8. With Grant and possibly Sainz out, we could use Sam or Dimitri as left winger, and slot Kenny in at cb, with Nunez returning to midfield. Have Aboh and another academy lad on the bench with the usual lads. So let's not too down, we go again on Saturday with a strong side
  9. That's NEVER red!! Yes his studs touched Howson and probably didn't even mark him. Alying or whatever his name is, was a yellow and probably a red for some refs
  10. I agree, but we can't drop Kenny. He is often the driving force from the back. Keep Kenny at cb
  11. I have been banging the drum, not literally though, about the music being played before the game. Why not play more popular tracks that gets fans in a good party mood and have a sing ? I still think the run out music is dreadful. ... and how about after a good win, they play Celebration by Kool and the Gang? I loved the 10 minutes of the DJ music, one was by Kaiser Chiefs. Loved it. Let's have more variety on match days, different play lists, liven the pre match mood up.
  12. I think josh will score again today if he is fit
  13. As Connor said in his post match report, what more can DW do? We are in good form, he had to make those substitutions, and we won again. Understandable that he was angry and spoke out. He is a good guy and we should applaud how he has improved the team and results. I am saying I think he should be here next season, but so far it's good.
  14. I am a 70 y o fan in the South Stand. Don't be so ridiculous
  15. Sometimes admitting we are wrong about something is hard, and apologising doesn't come easy for some people. I get that. On Tuesday night, whether we voiced our annoyance of the substitutions or we thought it, (and I think 20000 fans thought "what is he doing?"), I feel David Wagner needs an apology. Yes we all got it wrong. In hindsight the chanting and booing was wrong. Sure, if the players had sat on the turf showing they were injured, it would have communicated just that, and we all would have understood the reasoning behind taking both players off. But that didn't happen. There has been much support in the media for DW and rightly so. 9 games at home unbeaten and 7th in the table. Yes, he has made bizarre team selections and substitutions during his tenure at City, but let's admit it, we have the feel good factor back and playing some great football. He may or may not be the man to take us forward, but I feel you guys in the Snake Pit and Barclay could at least show some recognition to how he has improved the team, and chant his name today,? Let's heal this divide a little. Sure we have had a tough few months, but now is the time to support the one person who has turned our season around. David Wagner.
  16. We do also have Aboh waiting to grace the first team. If we are to be without Onel, jonny and Josh it is a good opportunity for him to get game time
  17. Football stadiums are best located near good public transport links, and Carrow Road is perfect for the rail links, and not so far from the A47. It's a ridiculous thread talking about Anglia Square as an option for relocation, anyway hasn't planning permission been, or being approved for redevelopment?
  18. This is the perfect opportunity to bring in Ken Aboh into the side. We keep hearing is is a great striker and isn't interested in signing a new contract, so surely with Rowe out he is the obvious choice? He needs convincing we are serous about him having a future with us, but unless we make some positive moves, we will probably lose him.
  19. I know Rowe is going to be missed, but surely Sid can take his place? Unless DW wants to " ease him in and take it slowly". Start him and if he flags in the second half get Onel on. Simps
  20. But Barnes isn't going to be with us years is he? He is a temporary fix. Hopefully Sid will be our regular no. 10
  21. I have just watched the brilliant film on BBC iplayer about how early man came to play football. It's one of the funniest football films (by Aardman's Nick Park) and has a thrilling match of the underdogs verses the Premier side. If you like football stories, you should live this. What has it to do with NCFC? Absolutely nothing 😆
