Can’t understand how Martinez’s challenge towards the end of the man Utd v Chelsea game was only deemed a yellow card offence. Commentators saying that it looked worse than it actually was. He caught the Chelsea player both on the knee and on the foot. Pity that we didn’t have these officials refereeing our game last week. McLean’s challenge had less impact. Not that I agree with McLean being abusive towards the referee but maybe he was correct in what he said to Mr. Bell!

I think that the biggest beneficary of having Buendia would be Sargent. A massive increase in goal scoring chances from the play making of Buendia would result in goals scored by Josh.

Got to give Duffy credit. A lot of his good work particularly his shot blocking , set piece defence organising & winning heading duels appear to go unreported. Fingers crossed a few more goals in the offing from him with our attacking set piece play.

What a waste of talent to have gathering splinters on the bench. Not even being one of 5 substitutes brought on in past few matches. Surely in Villas interest to Buendia having game time if he’s not going to be used. Time for Norwich to make a play for him on loan & make everyone happy.

Thought today’s referee Tom Nield had a very good game. Didn’t fall for the “tumbles’ early on and let the game flow. Took his time with the important decisions for the penalty and disallowed Hull goal.He was unsighted for both incidents and went with his Lino’s advice. All yellow cards were merited. Unfortunate for the Championship but should be on his way to the Premership.

McClean getting us into all sorts of trouble. Has given the ball away twice already in the second half and well beaten for the header for Derby’s assist. Sainz to the rescue.

Another 2 goals to rescue Celtic who were playing very poorly.

Doyle was day dreaming for the Watford goal. Duffy & Cordoba gelled well together.

Would love to know Sargent’s conversion rate v Idah’s. Sarg could have had 4/5 goals today and in the last few matches.

Sainz was certainly having a word with the referee & lino at half time about the disallowed goal.

Very poor performance from today’s referee. Was very reluctant to rule in favour of Norwich. Alarmingly eager to yellow card City players but reluctant on punishing Sheffield infringements. Surprised that he didn’t book any of the ball boys!

I simply asked the question ‘WHAT IF’ it was one of the other players would they be demanding the same sanction?
