For once I didn’t dislike the commentary team which is of course the home team. for starters they welcomed us on board which is a first and even got ourplayers names correct. Pretty fair commentary all round tbh.

I’ve always enjoyed the season before the prem . Sitting watching MOTD and being knocked by so called pundit telling me how crap we are going to be and telling me we don’t bring in young players ..... Smug Shearer when we lose a couple of games on the trot . I hate the prem because of what it’s become which is a shark pool of ultra rich foreign players and owners.

Hmmm. trying to suss out KD and the piece on the front page highlighted my thoughts. Each game I’m willing him to come on and show us glimpses of what is to come on a decent run but for me , no show yet. Chuffed when he came on with 30 to go against Coventry as I thought it was a perfect opportunity for him to start showing us the real him but apart from one row z shot a can’t recall anything else in that 30 minutes. yes I know he has had a period on the sidelines but still think that maybe we should have seen more ? perhaps I’m missing something that other can see?

I know he has a big contract but FFS , why hasn’t Evans got shot of him yet ??? the place is falling apart, it’s not going to better , he has enough money to get rid of him so why hasn’t he . Im seriously thinking that Evans has some weird thing going on that we don’t know about.

2 big mistakes for me . The obvious one but around 20 minutes in he lost the ball and made no real attempt to get back to challenge or make it difficult . But that’s not me saying he is no good just I prefer my LB to be excellent at their prime position and good going forward over the opposite. But he is of course on a sharp learning curve and I’m very interested in watching his progression with DF saying it’s between him and Xavi for the rest of the season.

Fingers crossed for a draw so they can still see the play offs and lambert doesn’t get the bullet. too many losses and we could lose our best agent.

You don’t think SW has a few nice little bolt ones for added payments ? I do.

If there is one player that seems to totally confuse me and that's Idah , in what he actually has done to be thought of so positively ? Yes, sure 3 goals in the cup game but honestly I don't know what else. Not knocking him but confused why he seems to be so highly thought of.

This^^^^ i keep saying to my lad we just need them to keep drawing with the odd win to keep them around 8th. We need no changes of manager when the present is doing such a great job.

Flipping love in for Boro with the sky commentator. But all ok, a point and we won’t win every game. Emi ...... can’t help himself can he.

I’m no footy manager but I think it’s fair to say we all knew that our lack of strength in the defence was going to make it nigh on impossible to stay up. How many did we let in the season before yet we had basically the same problems. I don’t doubt SW a and DF knew this as well but could see it as an early step forward. would we have faired better with a stronger defence ? Maybe. But if we go up again we will be better off? Yes. maybe not enough to stay up but better to make a good go of it. it’s the two forward one back thing. Each time we get stronger and that’s progress.

I said to my lad today but I feel totally at ease with him on goal. unsure why but he has just slotted in . I think it’s always nice to bring youngsters in so maybe that’s part of it. if you think he is training and being around Krul every day, what a great situation for him also ?

I’m not his biggest fan , unsure why but I’ll admit to being very wrong today.

My lad said Cantwell could get away with it on telly but god help any player he goes up against in his under 16 footy league. 😁

My son and I seem to get it every game now. The quality is ok, today was a bit jerky at times but to be honest in these difficult times it’s great to sit with my son for 90 minutes jumping and shouting at the telly. £10 well spent for what it gives us.

He he. The boss didn’t look very happy when ever the cameras caught him. Be interesting to hear his comments tonight.

I wasn’t a fan of Cantwell two seasons ago but then his form at times last season made me rethink and feel maybe I was harsh. But I’m back to square one again with the lad . H e may have the odd good game or touch but not consistent enough and for me , just not quiet good enough in general . A little how a felt with the Murphy twins. Nearly but not quite. Today I thought he was very very poor when presented with some wonderful chances .

It’s been so long since he played and only those few early games that I’ve nigh on forgot how good he might be !

Pretty much all the team had an off day yesterday. it happens. Maybe Tim could come back a bit quicker as until last nigh I though MM has been doing great in goal.

Watching the game with my lad I kept thinking that our passing wasn’t what what has been up to. Missed passes mixed with passes that seemed to be a yard too short . It’s what our game is , passing the ball around and making space . Tonight it wasn’t there. I’d like to see the pass success numbers for tonight. Little Emi looked like the sort of player that didn’t know where the goal was , Todd taken off, it’s was just a poorer performance than we normally do and made Watford look better than they are. ho hum too much Xmas pud , howling gales and pouring with rain. A better performance next game then back to 100% after that. 2 losses in 17 is it ? 👍

Naismith. A name that pops up every now and then and pretty much always linked to the financial problems of the club. Hell of a thing to have hanging over your surname. ( not that he gives / gave a sh*t )

Simply has to be Tim's last minute header against Ipsw**** a couple of seasons ago for the effect on the away ' fans ' that day . "ooooooooohhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo " Mr Holts header against Liverpool away in the way he just knew that was his ball regardless of who was around him .
