  1. finally! took about an hour. last one took a while, 8 lettered striker. great new feature by the way!
  2. it was the appalling 2-0 defeat at derby for me.
  3. i''ll go with 5 points. hull - draw brighton - win derby - draw
  4. huckerby simply because we would not have got into the prem without him. some may disagree, but not many.
  5. it was against sunderland, but he will score plenty more against the the best teams in this country. i thought that i might not want ashton to do well, but it turns out im pleased that he scored and i do hope he does really well! he didn''t leave in the best of ways, but certainly did all he could for us imo.
  6. yeh i was pretty disappointed, confused and annoyed at that comment! the performances weren''t average, and the results certainly weren''t average! i just hope we dont have a bad february!
  7. the last prem space is a very hard decision. there will be one very good team go down this year, pompey are a bit behind but have assembled a great team. birmingham are also a premiership team. without wigan and west ham in the picture, its very difficult. im going to go with: 18. birmingham 19. west brom 20. sunderland but i think it will be very tight in the last space. top 2 in the champ is simple enough. i think leeds will win the play-offs. 1. reading 2. sheff utd 3/play-offs leeds
  8. ive also read many a baggie say they now want robson and the the chairman out. most of them seem resigned to relegation now. but lets face it, i think pompey, birmgham and fulham will be alot harder to come ahead of than us lot last year! so its good bye to the prem for them anyway.
  9. he could earn the fans player of the season if he''s left in the team! to see our most gifted player leave FOR FREE because of a stubborn manager will be a tragedy.
  10. im not sure on that one. i would have thought ashton is still our record signing, as didn''t ashton cost more upfront?
  11. i think we all know we wont get top 6. i very much doubt we will get top 10. but yeh, the next 4 games are winnable. so i expect us to get about 4 points from them teams then! being optimistic, 7 points out of the next 4 games. but that wont get us into the top 9, so no chance.
  12. i dont see this as a panic buy at all. to get earnshaw at basically less than half the amount of ashton''s fee is good. and as far as i know, 24 (i think) aint exactly old. he still isn''t near his peak, so we could see the best of him, if the circumstances are right.
  13. id rather have a fully committed ashton to be honest. but if he proves to be a bit injury prone, i''ll change my mind.
  14. great group that. will give the new manager plenty of confidence when he wins that group with maximum points! lol
  15. very interesting. i think he''s the best our of the bunch personally. i would really welcome that signing. more so than jerome.
  16. on this situation, yes the board and co have done well. ashton left norwich no choice but to sell. he basically put in an unofficial transfer request. he was that desperate to get away that he waived off 150k! dont sound like a player that we should be looking to place our ambitions on as far as this season goes. great fee for someone who doesn''t want to play for us.
  17. not really, no. only team i can see falling out that top 6 is watford. so really, saturday is a must win.
  18. he hasn''t injured his hammy at all. groin strain apparently, says worthington....
  19. i dont think he would have been good enough. alright as a squad player, but certainly dont good enough for our first team. when everyones fit ofcourse.
  20. yeh, wouldn''t mind him. has a bit of flair about him, and can score a goal or two.
