Canaries Utd 0 Posted September 21, 2013 and if you boo''d at any Norwich displeasure today you are also a numpty. A lot of you are thinking we''re some kind of top 6 team, get a life you bunch of losers. You really need a reality check. OTBC.

OTBC.
Whilst its easy to point the finger hughton, his case for defence is becoming weaker and weaker. And ultimately the buck stops with him. Just look at our form since xmas. Nobody thinks we should be top 6, just better than bottom 3 - and with our spending we should be.
kick it off 2,062 Posted September 21, 2013 So who was to blame in your opinion? Villa have not kept a clean sheet in 26 games before today. We have scored 3 goals in the last 5 games. On paper we are a top 10 squad. Not top 6 squad but you don''t have to be a top 6 squad to avoid defeat to Villa at home. That is a game that every team should be looking to win, particularly when they are so god-awful defensively. So calling people a "bunch of losers" and making some spurious claim about us not being a top 6 team therefore we shouldn''t expect better than another relatively dire performance, at home, against a poor Villa team who lost their talisman early doors AND we had a bloody penalty. I think it is you who needs a reality check because your logic holds absolutely no common sense whatsoever. It''s all well and good jumping on here and calling people numptys but without making any points or contribution to debate that isn''t hyperbolic, passive-aggressive nonsense, yourself, then you just look like a bit of an attention seeker to be honest. Gingerpele 0 Posted September 21, 2013 Hughton is of course to blame. It''s his team.We should have scored with the chances we had, that''s not his fault. But persisting with going down the right when Snoddy could only hit the keeper. Not having a plan B for a well Man marked Redmond. Not having a plan B at all. Playing a well out of form Snodgrass. Letting Snodgrass still take every set piece. We should have scored, we had a penalty, RVW had a couple good first half chances, we had about 30 crosses, Martin got inside the FB about 5 times. Fer, RVW and Pilks all got ahead of the defence at one point! Guzan made an absolutely world class save. We should have scored with what we did. But we didn''t. And a lot of what we did with the possession and positions we got into kept going wrong, and there was no change. If something isn''t going right, if a player is out of form, that''s Hughton. Move Klose 303 Posted September 21, 2013 5 wins in last 26 league games says it all. why spend £13m on two strikers and play the way we do. may aswell saved the money and start with becchio. its hughton tactics.

But ultimately it falls on Hughton, who decides on the strategy and picks the team. It just appears as though the attack lacked a real strong strategy, the players played without a sense of what to do with the ball when they had it. And then when they didnt, a lack of real tracking back and open space for the opposition led to a goal.

Canaries Utd 0 Posted September 21, 2013 I''m not attention seeking, I couldn''t give a flying fck what you moaners think about me. This is the first time I''ve commented on the Hughton situation. You talk of morale, do you honestly believe the players can''t hear the boo''s? The players are potentially good enough, we played an attacking formation and we lost because yet again we didn''t score. The penalty, yep disappointed it wasn''t taken by a striker, but the players ultimately decide on the pitch. I did see either striker stating their claim! J 0 Posted September 21, 2013 The signings showed intent, unfortunately our play and tactics lack that same intent. Just like in any job, the blame falls on the manager for a poorly performing team. Unfortunately, perhaps, confidence in Hughton from both supporters, club and players is only going to fall if we continue like this and change, one way or another, will be considered soon enough. The record speaks for itself. Though, what happens if change in managerial terms happens - who is there to bring in realistically, and what would be the result of such a change in terms of confidence & our play. Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted September 21, 2013 With the right set-up RVW is probably capable of 15 to 20 goals a season. In Hughton''s team he will probably be lucky to score 5. What is it with Hughton and strikers? He has so far managed to make Grant Holt, Becchio, RVW and Hooper look v ordinary. I wonder if Hooper, RVW and one or two others are having serious regrets about joining the "Hughton project." I certainly would if I was in their boots. A lot of you are thinking we''re some kind of top 6 team, get a life you bunch of losers. You really need a reality check. OTBC.
What a bizarre post. The tactics were clearly wrong. We surrended the central midfield and so our back four were exposed time and again with simple passes down the flanks for their pacy attackers to run across and onto.Giving an out of form player the task of taking penalties was a strange decision.Once we went a goal down, defeat was inevitable. The lack of morale and courage in our team is troubling, and this is something else that comes from the manager and his coaching team.Last chance saloon for Hughton, I''m afraid. YellowBlood 0 Posted September 21, 2013 I don''t think we played badly today and we may have been unlucky but if you look at our stats and results since mid December last year and you can''t defend Hughton. 5 wins in 26 says it all and we''ve barely created any chances in half of those games down to negative over cautious tactics. Hughton out.

ZLF 335 Posted September 21, 2013 We buy a striker who feeds of attacks through the middle and then build a team that prefers a high ball into the middle from the flanks, especially the right flank while neglecting to offer any creative capability through the centre of the pitch and wonder why we dont score.Wessi is being missed, 4411 not working for us and the obsession of attacking down the right has made us ultra predictable. We can turn it around but we need to add variety and identify who is going to play in the middle quagriella role, the options are howson, wessi or redmond as elmander as an experiment does not seem to be working
