I have thought for a while we could have a deal for Snody lined up, I think the position we are lacking in most is creative/attacking midfielder- knowone can step in and replace Wes in a like for like role, Snodgradd will offer us that and another option for the wide midfield spots.No idea who the german player could be, but I like german players, very hard working!

Snodgrass probably wouldn''t cost £7-8 million, thats just what Leeds want. Doubt anyone is willing to pay that much, and if he wants a move to a premiership club, likely to stay in the premiership, Leeds might have to let him go.

And the OP, kinds seems like a random hopeful guess, so that if it does happen you can come back and say told you so...

Agreed, nobody is going to pay that kind of money for Snodgrass. Not even close to it.

Let the guessing the game begin. I have no problem with Snodgrass being associated again and would love it to come off.

 

We do need that spark, afraid Hoolahan has not created it enough in the final third for the full 90 minutes and as always we seem to accomodate him. Not so sure that is the long term answer if he is not producing in the 90. However as a sub a useful player to have. I do think that a number of our players will be gathering interest from other premiership teams. However I cannot see Hoolahan being looked at with his performances so far and with his position within the first 11 so specialised.

 

Also our 25k midfield passer Fox has been exceptional. I had no expectations that he would be able to contribute at this level, he has however we need a commander and chief on the field and it is that position where traditionally it is suited if it is not a centre half. But I would be happy for us to look to Europe to answer some of our weaknesses and believe them well suited to come in and perform. Hence a midfielder from Germany, brilliant. I would rather that than looking around the english leagues, as I think we have proved none of us have been able to identify a midfielder that would suit the bill here. A hard working, general, who can pick out the passes.

I wouldn''t rule out McCormack as an option from Leeds. Plays right, left or through the middle.

Highly likely, but isn''t Gotze worth about £15m and wanted by Arsenal ;) Hopefully a back up keeper with a bit of experience (don''t say look how far no experience has got us this far) so then he will be reliable. Experience more often than not equals reliabilty. Doubt it''ll be a Leeds player though, but maybe a Championship player and a German sounds likely.
