What a totally unbiased article there. Hopefully Lambert will show it to the lads before kick-off today!

It''s even more biaist then most of the optimistic leeds fans could write in a blog! If he wants to go on about ''facts being misleading'' then why if the Leeds fans are so much better then ours (a huge realistic average crowd literally 30 or 40 better then us atm) then why in the first two years in this league did they get average gates of 22,000 and 20,000 respectively?! I''m not saying they have a worse fan base then us because obviously they''re fan base is bigger but how they can criticise us of all clubs on attendance is laughableThen he goes on to state we have hardly scored any goals of merit when it matters in open play? This of course must be in relation to him taking exception to nelson''s overhead at hartlepool, chris martin''s great finish and grant holt''s spectacular goal vs. leyton orient when time was running out, chris martin''s great free kick that started the demolition of bristol rovers, and countless last minute winners ''when it matters''the guy who wrote the article is an utter pleb in my opinion

FOOTBALL BETTING HEADLINES

Leeds - should have more to celebrate.

ROUTINE NIGHT FOR MIGHTY WHITES

BETTING BOX

FIXED ODDS

1pt Leeds to win 2-0 at 8/1 (extrabet). Expect the Whites to dispose of Canaries with the minimum of fuss.

Leeds v Norwich - Sky Sports 1 (Monday 1945 BST)

Norwich have forced their way into promotion contention on the back

of three straight wins, while Leeds have been knocked off the summit

following two draws and a postponement, but expect the natural order to

be restored at Elland Road tonight.

This game might be built up as a clash between two of the big

promotion heavyweights but the Whites stand head and shoulders above

the Canaries in every sense.

Norwich might be earning plaudits for attracting gates of 23,000 to

Carrow Road but there''s only one genuine superpower at this level and

the Yorkshire club''s average crowd of 24,000 is significantly more

staggering because of the length of time they''ve served in the third

tier.

One would expect attendances to plummet drastically after two failed

attempts to escape the division but the Leeds fans are as staunch as

they come and they should finally be rewarded with something worthwhile

to celebrate at the end of the campaign.

On the evidence we''ve seen so far, it''s hard to imagine a scenario where Leeds won''t be crowned champions.

The Whites have served their time at this level, they''ve learned

every lesson that needs to be learned and, most importantly, they''re

now managed by someone with good pedigree and recent experience of

success over the course and distance.

Indeed, the statistics for Simon Grayson make the case virtually

watertight: in his last 46 games at this level, managing both Leeds and

Blackpool, he has overseen 33 wins, securing 106 points.

Some punters will no doubt point to the inherited goalscoring

prowess of Jermaine Beckford as a major contributory factor to those

figures but United''s improvement in results under Grayson also

correlates with improvements made in both of their defensive and

disciplinary records.

Norwich might be portrayed as a free-scoring outfit with an average

of two goals per game over the course of their opening 12 matches but

the stats are a little misleading and the attacking limitations of Paul

Lambert''s men should be exposed in this game.

The Canaries have scored a disproportionate amount of their goals

from set plays but Leeds are unlikely to bless them with the kind of

individual errors from which they benefited when posting comprehensive

home wins over Wycombe, Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient.

Indeed, if you study footage of the goals Norwich have scored this

season, you will struggle to find any they have carved out from open

play that actually mattered.

As if to emphasise the task facing them tonight, Leeds have the best

defensive record in the country, keeping clean sheets in six of their

11 matches so far, and they''ve conceded only one goal in the first half

of their last 27 competitive matches.

Needless to say, odds of 7/5 about a United shut-out will appeal to some but we prefer the look of the 8/1 available on Leeds to win 2-0, that being the correct score that always best sums up a routine 90 minutes.

I think it''s great that they think like that, just adds on pressure. Suppose it''s a shame that it''s only one journo and not the Leeds squad.
I think Mike Holden is a Man City fan Here is his twitter (biography confirms it''s definitely his so don''t hold back)
Ooooooooohh… that came as a bit of a shock!!! He''s that un-attractive, even his autofocus prefers the John Redwood lookalike in the background. But opinions are like arseholes I guess… and every arsehole has his opinion. including our Mike. Let''s not pitchfork him too much just yet, it does so set the wrong impression of us! Wait and see if we win and then give him the proverbial.

WHAT A LOAD OF TOSH.

Ive watched us score more tha few very clinical special goals this season from open play. Th e guy is obviously a complete clueless nobber.

Leeds may well win tonight as they are very good team, but that write up is just pure shite.

COME ON YOU YELLOWS.
