Spartan 0 Posted January 31, 2009 A little research on New Zealander Chris Killen reveals he is very injury prone and has scored 1 goal for Celtic since signing; sorry to be negative but is he the answer to our lack of goals, or another cheap option for the board?? Hopefully he will prove an inspired signing for the battles that lie ahead?
Gingerpele 0 Posted January 31, 2009 we only get injured Cetlic players, we are there hospital training ground :D
Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted January 31, 2009 Come to Norwich and get fit. Enjoy the Joe Lewis Diner. Come in and get fed up!
Minster Canary 0 Posted January 31, 2009 He''s a loan, not a permanent. He has scored regulary for his previous clubs, a team like Celtic don''t sign players just "because".He has been unfortunate with injuries, he is now match fit, he has a point to prove. He scored lots for me as Norwich on FM09.HE''S BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE.Well done, Gunny. one 4 the future 0 Posted January 31, 2009 Could have tried a double swoop along with Darren O''Dea may of looked a bit more interesting. Not sure if this is the right phrase to use on a club nicknamed the canarys but why not kill two birds with one stone. nutty nigel 7,902 Posted January 31, 2009 If this is true then why the eagerness to do the player down? In the last couple of weeks we have got rid of one management team and replaced them with another. That team are now bringing in the players that they feel can help us to safety. We have not lost since the last manager was sacked. We could still get relegated and we could still get safe. Do we feel as fans that our contribution would be best by complaining about every move the club makes? What do you critics know about Chris Killen that makes you think he won''t improve our chances of survival?
ca 1 Posted January 31, 2009 Thats good news if its true because any striker is better than playing a midfield upfront.

whoareyou? 0 Posted January 31, 2009 If he is fit and stays fit, he would be a good addition. Hopefully we have it written into the deal he can go back if his injury problems return.
TheCardinal 0 Posted January 31, 2009 Craig Bellamy and Dean Ashton are injury prone if you look into their histories, doesn''t negate the fact they''re talented players. I''ll judge the player when I see him.

Defence is the problem

O.T.B.C 1 Posted January 31, 2009 Some people like to moan at every move the club make. Signings are a risk, he may have been injured but I remember when Gudjonson was injured for ages but Bolton took a chance and he has not looked back since. Just because someone has been injured doesn''t make them a failure. I think some people are not happy unless we buy Ronaldo. Yes we need to buy somebody and some one decent, but if the chances arrive to get good players like Killhim on a loan deal take it.

The Fish Seller 0 Posted January 31, 2009 Well since Bell has now recuperated enough to leave for his preferred Club we do have a spare bed at the Colney Convalescence Conservatory be a shame to let the facilities go to waste and get in fit players.BTW Nutty very good.[:D]
