1. Yeah, I think it looks great, nice to see something wearable that hasnt had a can of paint explode on it, looks really good, lets hope the kit is nice
 2. Actually sorry I thought you meant the 1989-1992 asics kit. The other one I have from the time alright but...meh haha
 3. Good luck, I bought one of these on Ebay a few months ago, like yourself I loved that shirt, and they hard to find and go for a few quid! Worth it though!
 4. How is it going lads, another Dublin/Kildare based fan here, was hoping to go over for the final but couldn''t make it happen unfortunatley, so will be tuned in watchin it, jealoius of all those at it! Not posted on here in ages but still check the message forum. Good and suprising to see a few Irish canary fans! Thought there were only about 2 of us haha
 5. Here''s a view from an Irish Norwich fan (always been a huge Wes fan even when at Blackpool). Firstly its not Ireland who dont want Wes in the team its Trappatoni!! If you talk to most people here you would see that despite getting a poor team to qualify which was great! The majority of fans would rather see a different manager. He plays a horrible and negative style of football and in mine and what i can see most peoples opinion over the last year he does not pick the best players. Most people woould want to see Wes, Pilkington, and McClean in midfield, with Long and Keane IMO starting up front! The likes of Paul Grenn, glen whelan, Paul mcshane etc etc making the squad is a joke! utter crap players! Even if we were to lose at least it would be a nicer style of football! As for the media thing, I think tahats mainly down to Sky and how much money they make over here aswell as England! Or maybe its just cause where neighbours, shame a lot of posters there want us out, ah well cant please the haters! Anyway i could ramble on but i have to go watch us beat Spain!! [;)] Best of luck to England in the rest of the competition! [B] Il be hoping yis do well
 6. Nelson and Ward = Rubbish Will we ever find a good centre back again! Ruddy looks so dodgy and nervous lets hope he can get it together or else give rudd the chance he deserves. Always Sh*te when I get to see them play (live in Ireland)
 7. This is shocking!!! Lets just hope lambert (who lookid like he would kill someone walking down the tunnel!!) has a few stern words and gets them playing for the second half, defence has ben verry poor, Il give ruddy a chance but kick outs suspect! Surman needs to get more involved! Wes just needs a few things to start goin his way Oh god the delia where are you now quotes, will we ever here the end of it...   grrrrrrrrrr
 8.
Nice one, Irish... the more the merrier. The Republic''s my firm second team internationally - but can''t say I know enough about club football over there to pick a team. Who would be/is your favoured local club (and which sport(s)?!)?
[Y] Well generation, the standard of football in the leagues here is not great anymoe, I just personally have never followed it too closely, some decent teams, (shamrock rovers v real madrid was a classic) and some good players come through the leagues ( wes hoolahan of course [:)] , he played with shelbourne!) but most good players get snapped up by english teams while still very young. I bumped into Denis Wise when he was leeds manager in the pub over here a couple of seasons ago (was funny as my othere half''s dad is a leeds supporter) so he was talking to him and thats why he was here apparantly. I follow Dublin ( in GAA our national sport, not sure if your too familiar with this) and Leinster in rugby! but when it comes to football its just the canaries all the way! [B]
 9. born and live in Dublin, Ireland! Followed Norwich since I can remember, I think it was the allure of the bright colours when I was a kid! You should see the reaction when I say I support norwich over here! There are not many people who support anyone bar Liverpool and Man Utd and a few straglers of other clubs!! [:)]

Wow could not believe this thread when I logged on today and seen it! I think people have really gone off the point of booing at a football match! Firstly I think this is just a bunch of mindless idiots who do show no respect! I seriously hope and doubt they represent the majority of English fans who want to enjoy a game of football! Im sure these are the same people who cause trouble at the majority of tournaments.  Now before arthur wittle and others jump down my throat about how the Japanese dont deserve respect beacause of WW2! I respect your opinion on how its hard to let something like that go and there were some terrible attrocities carried out which went far beyond what being a POW would of been in many countries during wars over the centuries. However as someone else said that was a long time ago (not that that should mean you should forget or forgive, you shouldnt, how could you) but those fans and players and the current population hardly have the same views the same way you im sure would not have the same views of English people in the past such as Oliver Cromwell and the way I dont have the views of the minority of thugs here in Ireland who live in the past and sing IRA chants as you mentioned. As stated also by someone else you wouldnt get this at a rugby match so its a shame it cant be the same at a football match! As for the point about German camps not being as bad, this is a joke right?! Maybe torture was not on the agenda AS MUCH as Japan but the shear numbers killed and concentration camps! Im sure a lot of people find the genocide there a lot worse. As for your mentioned trip to Dublin! I was also at this match and witnessd the disgrace that happened there. So your story about this is complete sh*te! And before you start I bare no hatred towards English people because I am Irish and I have no reason too because of any past historical event. I have been on many trips to England and have plenty of English friends, and really like the place. Anyway this is just my opinion on this and each to there own, Im sure il receive a lot of abuse for my reply to this but sure there you go!
You clearly havent read my posts on this thread so please refrain from using my name mate.
So because we saw different events taking place my accounts are Shite and yours are real? Hmmmmm
You said yourself in the other post, you are talking out of your arse! Your words in the other post. So I think we are both a bit guilty of this. Im sure your accounts have truth in them too. that was a bit hasty on my part il admit, easy to get carried away when reading some of these posts. I did witness some horrible stuff that day though.
Agreed i saw some real hatred from England fans that day but not all. Same as the Irish. It was always going to be messy unfortunately.
Fair enough Arthur! And your right unfortunately it probably was always going to be messy! Lets end this one a good note i reckon mate [B] And well done on the quotes also, Iv read some of your posts in the past without them and found it quite funny!
