Unhinged Canary 375 Posted January 16, 2009 That''s low. Even by his pitiful stantards. So we''re supposed to feel guilty now because the guy was useless and his wife and daughter happened to hear about it? Did they not realise that by this point? I''m not questioning his skills as a Husband and Father, but as a manager he wasn''t actually that good now was he?[:^)]

tribes 0 Posted January 16, 2009 So the Board didn''t really want to sack hm, it was just the nasty Norwich supporters that did it. Dennis makes me sick.

ca 1 Posted January 16, 2009 Yes it is hurtful for the families involved but guess it goes with the job. I sat with a players wife at several games many many years ago and we both heard chants about her hubby''s lack of performance, she took it on the chin and said it goes with the territory. Not nice to hear a crowd protesting about your Dad/Hubby but I''m sure they''ve heard it before at Newcastle. Damo 0 Posted January 16, 2009 What a tool. Why doesn''t he write an article on everybody who''s ever lost a job and let their family know about it.That''s life Mick. He didn''t do his job properly and got the chop because of it; just like he would have anywhere else.
The Butler 0 Posted January 16, 2009
http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/80205
Another totally biased bit of drivel from Dennis. The mob/lynch party sounds like something from a B western movie.I have NEVER known City fans attack members of the club.Who the hell is he trying to convince with this type of reporting. If he is a city fan then he should acknowledge the state we are in.
BigFish 2,283 Posted January 16, 2009 All round a good piece. If it cannot be recognised that some of this behaviour goes beyond the bounds of common decency then some of the clubs support have sunk to a low level. That is not to defend Roeder, I am glad he has gone. Shame it didn''t happen before Christmas.
shortfatb 0 Posted January 16, 2009 When you are closer to the inner sanctum of anything that goes wrong you feel bad personally for those involved and their families and friends. However, writing it down to earn money is not laudable and there are people being removed from their jobs in thousands at the moment who have not underperformed as Glenn and his team have, merely been surplus to requirements, whose families weep alone ,without it being recorded by a self important sports writer and whose pay off for no longer being wanted will be a fraction of Roeder''s. Let''s not feel guilty, the fans having failed the club.

The Chirp 0 Posted January 16, 2009 my goodness you lot are typical... what''s your problem? free seat in the directors box... so what! (one of the comments on the article... by the way a lot of people get free seats for games if they are in the press... or next to nothing anyway...) it shows a different side.. an insight into what a managers family has to go through... not once did he say the fans were out of order - to munby they clearly are... - there are ways of doing things... abusing someone and swearing at someone isn''t one of them... any of you who think thats okay need to get real. - the types he screw their faces up in rage and scream at someone are quite frankly losers. mick dennis'' article is a good read... just because the article comes from someone who is close to delia and co and might look at things from a different view doesn''t make it a bad article... or... make dennis a bad person. not once did he say roeder shouldn''t have gone... sorry to have a different view... it''s clear a lot of city fans don''t like that! canary cherub 1 Posted January 16, 2009
Let''s not feel guilty, the fans having failed the club.
Mick Dennis is a propaganda mouthpiece for the board, no more and no less. This could be only the start if the season ticket renewals don''t flood in in the required numbers. From "best fans in the world" to "scum of the earth" in one short step . . . James Kent 0 Posted January 16, 2009 It comes with the job. It''s not a personal attack just the fact we needed him out. The results this season have been poor.I disagree with the article he does deserve it. He deserve to lose his job and he deserves to hear the fans displeasure. The way he has disrespected the fans and generally treated us with contempt means he got of lightly.

The Chirp 0 Posted January 16, 2009 try and i say ''try'' re read the article from a neutral perspective... i don''t think he is slagging off the protesters... a rabble of people of angry people isn''t a slight on them...
Syteanric 1 Posted January 16, 2009 Little Mick Dennis sitting crying into his notebook because one of his "friends" has got the push.,....best get the andrex ready then Michael, because the board will be next.. but then i think you have your article about how the "fans forced Delia out" already written...jas :)
Yes but he is saying that he feels sorry for poor Glenn, his wife, his daughter, the Munby''s and MWJ because he is friends with them, which is OK, but I feel greater unrecorded tragedies are going on in the UK and the rest of the world without being recorded by Dennis''s treacly prose. Grando 336 Posted January 16, 2009 Doncaster has also said that the players would have been "lambs to the slaughter" against Barnsley if they had kept Roeder in charge - again hinting that it''s the nasty fans who are to blame. The Board have clearly retired to their trenches as per usual.

Clever Farke 75 Posted January 16, 2009 Mick Dennis is as out of touch with reality as the rest of the board, it''s no surprise he comes out with such flatulent guff.
