Dame to Blame 108 Posted October 22, 2008 Interesting view point from the Reading fans seems like a lot of them don''t want him anywhere near there club. http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=81400
Cottaging Canary 0 Posted October 22, 2008 There could be a reason for that - "After being such a lazy, ignorant, disruptive force previously"
Berkshire Canary 12 Posted October 22, 2008 That is the opinion of a lot of my mates who support Reading, he is a fantastic player on his day but has been known to have an disruptive attitude and arrogant and sometimes nasty streak. Most Reading fans consider him to be their forth choice striker behind Kevin Doyle, Noel Hunt and Shane Long and feel that if the club were to sell any of their strikers in the January he would be the one they would want to see the back of. we8wba 0 Posted October 22, 2008 he was real thorn in the side last night and wasnt coincedence as soon as he went off that your attacks stopped! this will sound silly but he needs to be more deadily in the box, he missed two one on ones last night and missed two free headers! you not going play teams like us everyweek who gives you chance after chance. vs a birmingham you may only get two chances and will lita be deadily enough to take one of themwould be good signing for you guys though. Charlie Farlie 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Had a text today stating rumour is that he wants to leave Reading as he had a huge bust up with Coppell….. He may be a handful, disruptive etc etc , but sometimes if you take a risk with this type of player they pay dividends ! Bellamy a prime example! I think Lita is a player who thrives on attention and adulation, a bit like Huckerby , if he banged a couple in Saturday would he want to extend his stay , I am sure he would and brace or hat-trick against the Binners would ensure cult hero status ! Charlie Farlie 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Trent Yes i agree , but some of the best players have or are Big time Charlies ! Ian Wright springs to mind , one of the most arogent i can rember , but ended up a legend !
ndhscanary 0 Posted October 22, 2008 It would be a risk to take him as he has got a bit of a reputation. And Steve Coppell is not the sort of manager that too many players have bust ups with so he obviously has done something wrong. But the fact is we need a proven goalscorer and i think if we can afford him we have to buy him.
we8wba 0 Posted October 22, 2008 great talent/potential but i think he one of those lazy type training players, who turn up late, disrupt team!if you can get him on right track you have steal, but not even england u21 call could put him straight so take alot of work
ZLF 335 Posted October 22, 2008 worries me a little (dont want another Neilsen) as they also laughed their socks off when we paid £500k for hughes!!! and they were right then

Roger Hansbury 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Anyone see last week that Gary Johnson wanted him on loan but coppell wouldnt let him - it was more the fact that he didnt want him living in Bristol rather than playing there.A Bristol City fan said to me before the game that he he had a few problems there on nights out.. WrightyBoy 0 Posted October 22, 2008 As much as I like him as a player, the bloke is a complete nasty piece of work...criminal record of robberies and an all round bit of scum!!

norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted October 22, 2008 *reported anywhere
Old Boy 0 Posted October 22, 2008 It was interesting that very few of our players congratulated him when he scored - not too popular in the dressing room I would say.
Green and Yellow 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Scored three goals, now everyone NCFC supporter wants to sign him. How fickle. Once signed he would be a villain or out of favour with Roeder.
Mister Chops 7 Posted October 22, 2008
It was interesting that very few of our players congratulated him when he scored - not too popular in the dressing room I would say.
THAT''S BECAUSE HE''S A LOAN PLAYER AND DOESN''T BLEED YELLOW AND GREEN LIKE JAMIE CURETON.
Mister Chops 7 Posted October 22, 2008 This discussion''s arbitrary, anyway. We don''t want half our permanent signings but they''re still here, and we''ve got about enough in the transfer kitty to buy a round in the Glasshouse or maybe a month''s shopping from Aldi. Tetteys Jig 851 Posted October 22, 2008 Well, they seem to think £500,000 will get him, as he''s only got half a year left on his deal, so by that token, i really hope we do get him, seen any better strikers out there we can realistically afford?
dhickl 0 Posted October 22, 2008 To those that say that he''s a big time Charlie - wanting attention. How many of these players would you say also fit that bill; Hucks, Bellamy, Ashton, Earnshaw. And how many of those you said yes to would you like back. (Before anyone says it, yes you can include players like Llewelyn & Martin in that list.)
Joanna Grey 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Hucks was no "big time charlie".
