Yep, its very windy, the rain should blow through in the next 10 minutes, just as I start my walk to the ground via Kelham Island's finest ale houses. The forecast is dry but windy during the match - it's direction is through the gap between the South Stand and Leppings Lane end. The temperature is going to drop, frost is forecast by dawn. I'm sure given the recent wet weather that even with the best drainage system in the country (and it isn't) the pitch is going to be heavy and sticky. Christoph Stiepermann 1,261 Posted April 9 (edited) Gonna be a tough game tonight, their form in the last 10 games is mid table and they're a well drilled hard working team with something to fight for. The fact that they like to keep possession and play in front of teams sometimes could help us because we've shown we're better in games against teams who play that way with our counter pressing but their manager is clever and I think he'll set them up to press us high and attack quickly. Cold windy night up north against a decent team infront of 30'000 fans just after we've put a mammoth shift in to beat Ipswich means while I would love 3 points I think we'll draw tonight because it's going to be a tough game. I've just driven back over the hills from Hathersage near Sheffield. Tempered dropped to 4degC, it was wet and windy.
