Unfortunately the lack of atmosphere is all down to the demographics of Norfolk. County - Higher % than UK average of 60+ year olds. Carrow Road - Higher % than UK average football crowds of 50+ year olds. Season ticket holders - Higher % than UK average of 70+ year olds. Owners - Higher % than UK average Club owners of 80+ year olds.
mannings bandy legs 399 Posted January 1 Bloke's an irrelevance. Average player here. He'd be so good in a Wagner team. One way of passing.Back. Never forgot the pass back v Liverpool in the 4-5 defeat. Bloody awful.

If it’s been hard for groups of youngsters to get tickets together on a regular basis then ultimately some aren’t going to stick with it and find other hobbies, and it’s usually the youngsters who make the bulk of the noise. This isn’t a dig at the club, as many have pointed out the costs involved in building a new large stand simply haven’t made it feasible to do so but it’s a shame as it has led to an increasingly old fan base inside the ground. Big Vince 324 Posted January 2 It always sticks in my mind that when we lost 0-5 at Brighton, Russell Martin stopped running and just let them score at will.

alex_ncfc 666 Posted January 2 Rich that Russell Martin is sounding so bitter about NCFC when NCFC is the only reason the bloke had a career, wouldn't have made 300+ appearances elsewhere. If we'd actually had a decent CB in the time he was here then we might have made some progress.
Midlands Yellow 4,107 Posted January 2 Russ still sounds bitter about the ending of his career here. Was his last match at Millwall and Farke never picked him again? He’s not at Danny Mills levels but there’s a chip on that shoulder.
Red_Spartan 18 Posted January 2 After that Brighton game he tore into Michael McGovern and hugely knocked his confidence. He made a similar verbal assault on Declan Rudd at Bournemouth when their full back was giving him a roasting, setting his career back imho.
lincsy88 98 Posted January 2 Almost as much salt as that lot down the road from Russ here.
Creedence Clearwater Couto 1,297 Posted January 2 Perhaps Russ still cares a little? Alex Neil made similar comments last year, and Sutton has backed them up today.

damn that Ralph Coates! 47 Posted January 2 even the drummer in the barclay seemed to have a far-quieter-sounding drum, could hardly hear it at the halfway line. Or did he have nothing exciting to drum for... Never put off the Southampton chanters as he did to away fans earlier in season. Perhaps he's had to have a muted one because of the nuisance factor to Barclay fans nearby? All in all, it was a library

Should have taken a look at his own performances before pointing fingers. Glad we got rid. The fact he was mates with Delia just showed what he and the club were and are all about. That screamer he scored in the 3-3 draw in 2014 was clearly a miss hit. He just got angry because he couldn't walk it into the net.
