Sainz looks so dangerous cutting onto his right like that.

Also an excellent example of why you shouldn't use assists to assess a players contribution - Barnes gets one there for a dreadful touch while Idah gets nothing for a great run and cross.

Borja Sainz....you are going to be our new Wes!

Two in two for this lad now.

And fair play to Wagner for finally playing him and keeping him in the eleven.

And excellent Xmas present for everyone.

Always loved Sainz, never had a bad word for him 😬

As Goreham has said, teams are going to start targeting him, he’s a walking red card though.

It's tough for Wagner at the moment, in a good way. Idah showing there why he should be in the team. McCallum staking a claim and genuinely can feel hard done by given his performance today and last week. Sargent back. Rowe again not terribly in the game - but you can't drop him given how he can come to life at any moment. Onel's hard work, as always, despite his inability to influence games offensively.

I'm genuinely not sure what our best XI is at the moment.

Gibson boo’d on?? Poor from the fans… right when we’re playing the best we’ve played for months as well?

Really poor if so.

Before kickoff Watford were one place above us. They’ve now just equalised, but we are 7th and they were down to 13th. Just shows how tight things are.

That's absolutely nuts.

Now they're back above us.

Watford 2-1 up up to 7th

Our goal difference isn’t great, let’s hope when Sargent comes back we can improve things.

As I said, they *were* 13th but then equalised as I was writing the post.

Great 2nd half after struggling to break them down in the 1st, when we fire on all cylinders we are a joy to watch. Want to also give credit to the defense for dealing with the few attacks Huddersfield had very well, especially that block by Duffy (i think) near the end of the game.

If true that's awful, and sum up the modern football fan.

Tough run of matches coming up, let's hope Dimi's injury is not too bad. McCallum's got a chance now, up to him to take it.

Just one loss in eight, and to be honest, if Gunn had been in goal we probably wouldn't have lost that either.
