For the future 65 Posted October 5, 2023 We need to loan out the lazy players and get the wage bill down and in January 2024 get players in that can play good football

DraytonBoy 151 Posted October 5, 2023 There is a difference between not trying and not being good enough, I'm not sure many (if any) are in the first camp but maybe half a dozen simply aren't up to the standard required.

Cowboy 197 Posted October 5, 2023 I've put an advert in Exchange & Mart, 'Lazy footballers available for loan'. So far the response has been underwhelming.
Graham Paddons Beard 2,431 Posted October 5, 2023 The lazy players have their own annual dinner. Last year apparently , no one bothered to organise it and so no one went . Bearing in mind none of the lazy players would have gone anyway it was just as well.
NorfBhoy66 7 Posted October 5, 2023 Playing out from the back has been a problem since he started playing it, teams know to high press because they know we will give it away so easily, is giving 90% effort called being lazy?

Worthy Nigelton 1,048 Posted October 5, 2023 This is a good idea. I also think we should win more games and buy better players.

canarybubbles 1,915 Posted October 5, 2023 (edited) I don't think we have any lazy players. If anything, I think the opposite is true. We have too many players running around like headless chickens. How I'd love to see a Pukki, a Vrançic, a Skipp. Edited October 5, 2023 by canarybubbles

nutty nigel 7,536 Posted October 5, 2023 Foul more and get better at doing it. Recognise danger early. When Leicester were here a couple of weeks ago they they committed countless fouls in the midfield stopping many counters. None of this will help if we're careless with the ball defending the final third.
essex canary 496 Posted October 6, 2023 How about the lazy administators? The kind that sends out post match surveys to people who weren't even in attendance as opposed to making themselves available to talk to the fans on matchdays as they did at the turn of the century. They certainly don't entertain the likes of you over here chap, you embody what people dislike about the English. You are not the plain speaking man you claim to be , your kind of snidey insinuation would get short shrift in these parts. You'd be known as a fella that has ' notions about himself....and roundly mocked for your pomposity.
