It’s over as a global emergency because of the vaccines, so please don’t discourage people who want to be protected, from taking the vaccine by telling them Covid has gone away, because it hasn’t. For the over 75’s in particular it is still a killer, especially for the unvaccinated, it’s just not reported anymore.

The WHO announcement was quite clear ‘ The continued use of Vaccines is needed ‘.

My fit and healthy mum took the Moderna vaccine last June, immediately fell ill within hours, antibiotics didn’t work, immune system shut down and she died within 24 hours of being admitted to hospital. Death certificate said it was the flu. We were devastated and didn’t have the heart to take on entire governments and pharmaceutical companies making massive profits.

All I would say is if you really must take it ie you’re quite old, make sure your immune system is top-top before you do.

Sad to hear CJ. Sorry for the loss. I’m very pro vaccination but I appreciate that like many solutions, it isn’t perfect. The loss for anyone that falls into the minority cases when it goes awry cannot be understated and is nonetheless grossly unfair and devastating.

Thank you, appreciated. I don’t think deaths from the vaccine are recorded or tracked so hard to know unfortunately

That's terrible. I am very sorry for you. I should say I have had Moderna five times now, the original dose and four boosters, without any problems.

If you have a lower immune system like me because I had cancer  it is good to have another booster and be protected. If the UK vaccination programme had not been efficient we would just be taking our masks off, as Japan have now been told they can. 

Now they apparantly need to be retrained how to smile!! 😃

I saw a news item that said that deaths from the vaccine are recorded. I may have missed whether it differentiated between vaccines but it said, from recollection, there had been 47 attributed to the vaccine.
