Idah fit again

Recommended Posts

Idah has just posted an Instagram of himself training with the Irish team today. Might not please some on here, but let's see if he gets a morale boosting appearance this week.

Let's hope he doesn't aggravate anything while on international duty. Very kind of us to allow the player, who has been out for weeks, to join up with ROI just before our own vital set of fixtures.

I guess some minutes for the ROI will hopefully get him match fit for the run-in. Hopefully some positive news too re. Onel, Hayden, Byram, etc. toward the end of the week.

Let's be real here.

Idah even if fit will add nothing nor contribute anything in our vital remaining fixtures.

Literally got an assist in the last game he played for us but ok.

Perhaps Idah could be the next Carlton Morris albeit having had more first team exposure at a young age?

Slow burners could be a better bet than fast burners such as Sara who will pass through all too quickly and even if we get a substantial profit it will only go to financing a substantially higher wage bill.

Wagner said it would be a while before Onel and Dowell would be back.

Personally, I'd be surprised if we see Hayden or Byram in a Norwich shirt again.

But maybe we'll have a fully fit squad for the last game of the season.

Mentioning Hayden and Byram must surely be tongue in cheek ?

Feel sorry for the bloke but it’s time to call it a day on Byram, just too many injuries

Yes you’ve  got to feel sorry for him

Picked up thousands since his transfer and offered nothing

Another of NCFC’s record of signing dubious players with ongoing injuries

What a shambles we have got ourselves in

Looks like he's got his hands in his pockets there. Perhaps the Irish coaches are trying to teach him how to control a ball!

Thing with Byram is, it isn't just the number of injuries it's how long he takes to get over them.

7 more games and Byram's contract will be up, and hopefully one of several to be released in the summer. We need fit and hungry players for Wagner.

Let the clear out begin 🙂

It's a real pity that Byram turned out to be a dud. It was a gamble but at £750,000 not much point losing too much sleep over it.

There's been a lot far worse.

Idah enters the fray on 65 minutes, replacing Ferguson. Ireland 1-0 down. Could really make his name tonight.
