Articles:
The Pink'Un has it's usual presser coverage article here.
Canaries.co.uk have the clubs official build up piece here.
Preston have their own pre match piece here.

Ins, out's, shake em all abouts:
Norwich: Still out are: McCallum(foot, return after WC), Idah(knee - ?), Sorensen(foot - ?), Rowe(shin - ?) all seemingly out for a bit of time or without any indication of how long. Middling news is that although Haydan has had a "set back" it is only for ten days at the moment. The better news is that Giannoulis has made a good recovery and should be returning in the next couple of weeks. Cantwell has resumed training this week but not in time to make the match day squad.
Preston: Couldn't find any info, looks like an unchanged line up from their last game.

A little bit of knowledge:
Preston North End were originally founded as a cricket club back in 1863. They initially played their games at the Marsh near the River Ribble in the Preston suburb of Ashton. They then switched to Moor Park in the north of the town which lead to the North End recognising their new location. In 1875 they moved to the site of the Deepdale stadium which makes them the only founding member of the football league to still be playing at the same ground they started in.

Perhaps a little known fact but Deepdale was the target of terrorist attacks in 1913. There is probably a long list of people many will be running through their heads at this point, how many of you would have guessed that the attempted bombing of the stadium was actually planned by the suffragettes? The plan to destroy Deepdale failed, though Arsenal's then South London stadium was burned down and there was an attempt to do the same at Blackburn's ground.

Nutty has his PUPs thread up and running as usual. Please do go and take a look and take part in all of the fun.

Something extra:

@cambridgeshire canary has found a post on a Preston forum that gives some insight into opposition fans views on a trip to Carrow Road, you can have a look and reflect on that here.

Brilliant. That line-up and system worked so well against Reading. Let's hope it produces more than 1 shot on target this time.

As in as per the stat... just clarifying there were more shots "on target" but that they didn't meet the criteria for that stat owing to being blocked prior to forcing a save from the keeper and not blocked on the line.

I genuinely can't remember many (any?) blocked shots but, either way, we didn't exactly look fluid and dangerous going forward and I don't think 4-3-3 suits Pukki, at all.

Either way, I hope I'm wrong and we smash them 5-0.

Strange call to not change anything after the last game. I had expected Sargent upfront and Pukki to be rested with so many games coming up - or even two up top. Ramsey plays much better as the no.10 so get him back there! 2 square pegs in round holes for our 3 most forward positions - not ideal.

Have a feeling there might be some changes being made at half time or shortly after…

One wish for today is that people actually give some sort of respect and attention to what the opposition do. If they play hard and work harder to prevent us from playing and hitting our rhythm then appreciate how that can make us 'look' rather than it purely being about how we play... there are two teams out there, most will recognise they have little ability to match us with passing and finishing ability and will look to control the off the ball side of the game.

Given our lineup and Prestons defesive powers I would be happy with a 0-0.. Much as it pains me to say it

Excellent start, do we have 2 up top?! Not seen Sargent on the right at all yet. What a start from the bloke as well!

Yeah he's up with Pukki for sure

Trouble if you're a defensive team like Preston conceding an early one - do you come out and attack, or do you keep tight and save it for a late surge?

We've just got to keep the ball, keep it tight, and keep them running around.

Pukki and Sargent up front with Ramsey behind.
