I wonder if it's an age thing but I dislike Man U more- growing up as a kid in the 90's and a teen in the 2000's watching them win every bloody thing and being surrounded by their glory hunters was enough to give me a lifetime of resentment.

Think people growing up with football in the 90s will dislike united far more. The hate for these two is subjective to age.

Good job you weren’t born in the 60s. Liverpool were far worse winning everything in sight and the newspaper’s portraying their fans as darlings. 

All was fine as long as they beat you but their fans dished out sneaky beatings if you got the better of them especially at Anfield.

They held a poll recently for the best EPL players ever and there was about 7 Liverpool players in it. So obviously 14 year olds from Liverpool were the bulk of the voters.

Watching their defence tonight reinforces my belief that Van Dijk is very very good but too overrated. He is talked about as the best ever? We offered a million for him at Celtic.

Manure's goal was a farce. Van Dijk looked like a speed skater with his arms behind his back and not attempting to rush to Sancho. He is protected by a very good player in Henderson.

And Gomez was never very good and without Matip, TAA looks what he is, a good crosser of the ball.

I grew up in the 90s but I dislike Liverpool much more. In my youth they reminded me of Ipswich in that they were constantly on about how glorious they were but I had never seen them do anything of note. When Klopp came along and success looked likely you just knew they were going to be insufferable.

I can't get my head around any neutral who doesn't like a team compromising of Cantona, Giggs, Keane & Scholes.  Absolute joy to watch United back then, and Fergie such a top manager and character.

Pleased to see United get back to winning ways tonight, but I hate the thought of Citeh running away with the league this season - I know they slipped at the weekend but with Haaland they just look too strong to me.

I loved to see them lose but can't say I have ever hated them and always had a grudging respect for them under Fergie.

Yep, same. Even though United were dominating, Liverpool were always far more dislikeable.
