Duncan Edwards 2,424 Posted April 1, 2022 I’d settle for keeping them down to single figures.
keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted April 1, 2022 Yes. Brighton are as bad as us at the moment. No. Because Gilmour and Kenny will be in midfield.

Rottingdean canary 138 Posted April 1, 2022 Well, I'm looking forward to seeing my team even though I'm not wildly optimistic - but I'll probably get more optimistic the nearer we get to kick off. Although Brighton are on a bad run, whenever I've seen them they look a good team and we'll need to be substantially better than our recent form to get anything from the game. The optimism is already kicking in so I'll go for 1-1. Would love to see Jon Rowe start and play well and score - would give me a real lift ahead of next season. mannings bandy legs 439 Posted April 1, 2022 Of course we all would like to think we can. But with most of the players not back from int.duties until Thur/Fri and injuries to Aarons and Williams and our inability to keep clean sheets and inability to score more than one, and the fact Brighton have lost six on the bounce,we all know where this one is heading.I'm not a doom-monger,just a realist!! Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted April 1, 2022 Hopefully we will show some fight - heading down, not been to their ground yet (seen them play at 3 ‘homes’ so it was about time!)
Midlands Yellow 4,682 Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) Another defeat but optimism will remain post match of the great escape. We should have offered them a 2.0 win and saved on aviation fuel and hotel expenses. Edited April 1, 2022 by Midlands Yellow

I have been to the Amex. Plus the 2 previous grounds , have they had 4 ? As you say you have seen them at 3 but not the current one. Brighton are really bad at the mo so think it will be close , heart says we will win 2-1. Head says we will lose
Capt. Pants 5,014 Posted April 2, 2022 It will be interesting to see if after 3 weeks break the team comes back fired up and plays with a bit of spirit. We need to get at them like Leeds did us. They are the type of performances we need, not powderpuff Norwich. 1-0 to us.
paddycanary 580 Posted April 2, 2022 2-0 to Brighton
yellowrider120 919 Posted April 2, 2022 Weather here is huge improvement on thst horrendous gale before the match in 2019. A typical Farke 2-0 defeat. Nothing different today I fear. With the weather as predicted should be going up the Eye 360 tomorrow before going home. Brighton and the South Downs is a great place to visit.

I don’t think we played them in those seasons. I used to go with a mate to watch Albion quite regularly and went there a couple of times; they were bang average (at best) in those days and it’s hard to begrudge them their relevant success in recent years. It’s odd that I’ve not been at all since they got ‘good’! Edited April 2, 2022 by Branston Pickle
