cambridgeshire canary 7,799 Posted January 10, 2022 Because based off of the Chalton match along with our recent results and us being bullied by a midtable league one club for most of the match does worry me somewhat.. And that's with our current team given if we do go down half our team will be leaving and we will return to a 'full team rebuild' mode. Rate we are going think it will be hard to scrape a midtable finish in the Championship nevermind making the playoffs..

Indy 3,471 Posted January 10, 2022 I love your optimism CC, IF We Get Relegated! 😉 I don’t think there’s too much wrong for the championship, Aarons will go, but Mumba can cover, Hanley & Gibson are good at championship level, Omobamdele, Tzolis, Sargent, will grow with good games and confidence will see them develop. We might well lose Aarons, Cantwell this window followed by Rashica & Krull in the summer, we need to rebuild the midfield so two strong young athletes in midfield are a priority and a bloody good young striker, be it through from our youth system or bought in and we have a decent squad in this league. Gunn, Byram, Mumba, Omobamdele, Zimmermann, Hanley, Gibson, McCullum, Giannoulis, Dowell, Placheta, Lees, Sorensen, Dowell, Tzolis, Pukki, Sargent, Idah Move on, McLean, Rupp. So even when we lose the better more valuable players we still have a decent championship squad in my opinion. Coneys Knee 1,050 Posted January 10, 2022 14th/15th. My fear right now is that we’ll double drop like Sunderland.

Just predict something really bleak, that seems to be the norm. I'll go with relegation, administration and Carrow Road severely damaged in a tornado.
Samwam27 606 Posted January 10, 2022 We'll sell Krull, Aarons, Hanley, Gibson, Gian, Rash, Pukki, Sargent, Tzolis, but will keep Mclean to build a team round! And get relegated again 🤣
Mr Angry 2,019 Posted January 10, 2022 You asked virtually the same question on 2 January, we haven't signed anybody since then and we've only let a fringe player go on loan so I don't suppose the answers will be that much different. Although I suppose you post so much (S H I T) on here that you can occasionally be forgiven for repeating yourself 🤣
Disco Dales Jockstrap 1,960 Posted January 10, 2022 7th will do nicely; no more of this going up to become lambs to the slaughter for Disco. More wins than losses, a few 4-0 victories at Carrow Road and a statue of Tettey's knees outside the ground and I'll be as happy as Delia locked in a wine cellar. Dean Smith is far too seasoned for that to happen. I dont think we are a certainty to come straight back up though by any stretch. Could easily finish around 11th. Very fair point but it seems highly unlikely that Aarons and Cantwell will be with us next season and Normann definitely not. If we manage to keep Pukki then I'd suggest we look like a top half Championship side but play-offs a bit of a stretch, without Pukki then very much a midtable side.
