Baldyboy 1 Posted December 1, 2017 They’d rather that with the nice little chef in charge than those horrible foreigners!
alex_ncfc 686 Posted December 1, 2017 It does indeed. And anybody who thinks it will be a walk in the park like last time needs to think again. We won''t get that lucky again and will stay down there for years. But hey, as long as Delia''s still at the helm, then it''s all good for the happy clapper crew isn''t it? JF 694 Posted December 1, 2017 And anybody who thinks it will be a walk in the park like last time needs to think again. We won''t get that lucky again and will stay down there for yearsThis is my fear. Last time we had 3 players in Holt, Hoolahan and Martin that were simply Head and shoulders above that level and ultimately the one above. Where the hell does the club go if the worst is to happen this season? I see people anti the foreign investment as we could end up another Portsmouth etc. But the reality is we could end up there easily without it
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted December 1, 2017 Even with everything stacked against us there must be a manager out there that can get a better tune out of this squad. If we keep with the current set up we will only survive due to the weakness of other clubs

No, they won’t. Not until it’s too late at least. Why we ever went down this stupid DOF route I’ll never know. Our squad needed minor tweaking in the summer, and a proper manager to manage any egos and we’d have been right up there this year.Such a monumental f up, even for this board. Van wink 2,994 Posted December 2, 2017 Current form table, last six matches, we’re managing to keep Hull below us at the bottom: on goal difference.
corbs 147 Posted December 2, 2017 Hope not. I want to play the Shrews, and see my dad who lives in Salop.

AJ 1,359 Posted December 2, 2017 Even the biggest pessimist would be mental to suggest we''re going to end up worse than Bolton, Burton and Sunderland over the course of the season. We''re exactly where we are, the table doesn''t lie. We have achieved the figures of a lower mid-table side. Achieve the same for the rest of the season and that''s where we''ll stay. Indy 3,476 Posted December 2, 2017 Sunderland won’t be relegated, they will probably claw their way out.We won’t get relegated either, we will pick up a couple wins over the Christmas period as we’ve got some good fixtures after Sheffield and Leeds games are done. But it’s certainly not a great season ad I’m not impressed with sloped shoulders Webber with his pissed the money away excuses, he was bought in to sort things out and thus far he’s been full of hot air, with some of his signings no better value for money than previous regimes. FCC 94 Posted December 2, 2017 That would be Bolton and Sunderland who have already beaten us this season?
Highland Canary 78 Posted December 2, 2017 Think we’ll just beat the drop this season. But nailed on relegation the year after with the completion of our firesale next Summer.
Indy 3,476 Posted December 2, 2017 True but as shown in the run of games we won, we can put a good run of games together,so I’m confident we can gain the points for mid table. The said FCC we don’t always have the best form post Christmas historically! So some concern!
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted December 2, 2017 And Burton, who we couldn’t score against at home.Actually, I think we have 6 points from 7 games against the bottom 7, only winning one game. Whatever way you look at it this season is turning into a disaster
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted December 2, 2017 Only one of those 3 have to finish above us....

Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted December 2, 2017 We can beat the best and lose to the worst. Draws don''t keep you up and we need at least 9 wins to be confident of staying up on a good year 45 would keep you up on a bad year a side has gone down with 54. Sunderland now have a competent manager in charge I would be surprised if they went down. The other two at the bottom look weak but we have to go to burton and they beat us last year. If we drop to an average of a point a game the bells are really ringing
