Birmingham Match thread

Recommended Posts

Agree, although Birmingham should have had 2 goals as well. 2 clear, free headers. One hit the bar just before our first, second at 1-0 where 2 unmarked players got in each other''s way

What goes on in the dressing room at half time? Sounds like some of them are still in there.

Our defending is pretty Keystone Cops at times, even Klose today has looked shaky to say the least, still Jerome''s doing well, Naismith busy and working hard, just wish we would cut out this sloppiness.

Sounding as if all eleven are back on the pitch now. All us.

Listening to the commentary reminded me of last nights Derby v Leicester when the commentator announced:

"Demarai Gray on Fuchs off"

Unless it is an injury, I don''t see the point in taking Wes off for Lafferty when we are 2-0 up in the 87th minute.

Why tire Wes needlessly, the game is pretty much won, and until we get another striker in, best to give Laffs a trot around..... at least on the pitch, his warm up is multi directional.

Listening to the commentary made it sound like this could''ve ended up about 7-4!

2-0 will do just fine.

First time we have won two in a row since last October.

Nothing better than your team winning (well at my age anyhow).

It''s strange that when we lose or draw the match thread is usually at least 120 posts. In fact, there seems to be a direct correlation between the negative nature of the result and the number of posts in the thread.

Anyway, here''s one more post on the match thread on a day when we won.

Keith Scott or Iron Stan about?

you can only build a run a game at a time.

two consecutive wins a great start. Now for the same away from home and start better than the half hearted effort we saw against rotherham.

its in the players hands, if they decide they want it they will go back up the table.

Comfortable win, time to kick on

Brilliant result, nice to be finally getting texts today saying ''your boys are back on the up!'' - and we are 👍

Although Naismith worked hard his finishing was terrible, very comfortable hattrick at least. Need to play Pritchard/Maddidon in that position. Jerome was clearly knackered can''t see why he didn''t bring Laffs on earlier
