At the last EGM where there was a vote of no confidence in Bob Cooper, which he survived, Wynnie threatened to quit the club if the vote went against Cooper. Indy 3,307 Posted November 16, 2016 Bless those minor city investors, thinking they have any power to do nothing but turn up and be told of how it''s going to be!You, me and my dog have no chance of changing anything, any written questions will be vetted and swerved, any other business where those who do turn up, will be given the standard response, I think our owners have already laid out the long term vision.Hope those that go enjoy the coffee. TIL 1010 4,777 Posted November 16, 2016 The formal business of the AGM which has been sent out with the accounts including 7 resolutions will be followed by a Q & A.It was a Q & A a few years back that brought about the famous Roeder '' I must have missed your tenure as England manager '' response to a question from the floor. Jim Smith 2,325 Posted November 17, 2016 When actually is the AGM? I am a shareholder but despite repeatedly telling the club over the years and asking them to amend their records I never get sent a copy of the accounts or sent my notice of the AGM/proxy voting forms. And my point is to those who think going there would make any difference the to AGM, all the club is doing is catering to requirements, anyone thinking otherwise is delusional. They would probably like it better if none of the minor investors turned up to cause any uncomfortable questions. Graham Paddons Beard 2,435 Posted November 17, 2016 Don''t be mean to Jim. The AGM is 23rd November Jim, k/o 7.30 although the old lads that sit in the front and nab the biscuits will be there about 4pm. There are 7 resolutions, mostly involving re-appointing the board. Also to receive the accounts and re appoint BDO. I have to share the view that it is all a bit of a formality. The Club "very much looks forward to meeting (the shareholders) " and it is an "excellent opportunity to meet the Board and management ". Doesn''t look like questions are invited. There was a Proxy form , but I seem to have lost it! Possibly there was chance to ask the question on that. Can''t remember I suspect a well staged evening , giving little away. Last time I went the opening question was a complaint about smoking in the ground. Shows you how long ago that was. You need a letter to get in.

Who called it and where was it held? The only one I remember was the one Harry Serruys managed to get after Ken Brown was sacked. It was at St Andrews Hall and no subsequent St Andrews shindigs have come close. "Who are ya Mr Chase, WHO ARE YA!"
