  1. He might be trying to look like him, but he wishes he was anywhere near as being as good as Farke. Won't ever be close.
  2. That'll be everyone tuning out then. Unbearable.
  3. They might not be stepping away but they certainly aren't stepping up - what is going on with it all?
  4. I have the feeling Farke will be a Mike Walker-like manager - for whom it clicks at Norwich but nowhere else. Hopefully that is the case.
  5. For all those who are petrified of Little Old Norwich being sold and being without darling Delia, and the "if we get new owners it'll go badly and be a disaster, just look at Team X" brigade, we have to have new owners one day and one day relatively soon. They aren't going to live forever. If not now, why not now? They've had more than a fair crack at it, it's time for some new blood, fresh ideas and most of all, money. I honestly don't see what we gain from sticking with ancient owners who are so out of touch with modern football that it beggars belief.
  6. Both the home and away shirts look absolutely dreadful, cheap and nasty after last seasons efforts. Wonder if the third shirt will make it a hattrick.
  7. We signed Elvis at the very start of that season, soon sending him back after the Hucks and Crouch loans. So hard to believe that in 2 months time that'll be 20 years ago.
  8. This is what I don't understand. I rarely ever watch my TV to be honest. But why do I have to have a license to watch, say, freeview channels which are nothing to do with the BBC? They aren't funded by the license fee, so why do the BBC feel they can dictate whether I can watch live TV or not? I actually want to get rid of my license but then there might be a once in a blue moon time when I want to watch something on TV, so it's a grey area, any advice?
  9. I just find the whole thing to be nonsense - it's nothing special, it's a football kit. People will buy it. This whole "building anticipation" thing our club does (when other clubs release their kits weeks or months earlier) just does nothing, people will buy it regardless.
  10. It's a bit boring, and as others have said, the collar ruins it. Keeper kits look nice, mind you.
  11. There has never been any indication that the guy has what it takes to be a top level footballer. I genuinely don't know what's seen in him? He is still living off a hattrick scored almost 4 years ago. Let's be honest, he's done f**k all since apart from sit in the physio room.
  12. Ah, I never played ISS (apart from ISS Deluxe on the Mega Drive!) back in the day so had no idea Tony Gubba did the commentary on that. Yes you're right, it's Konami. My favourite era was PES 4, 5 and 6 in particular was epic. I think I might be right in saying that PES is now called eSoccer or something and might even be free to play. But nothing will ever compare to those old-school PES games.
  13. Wasn't PES Peter Brackley? With Trevor Brooking on co-comms. I remember when the entire Dutch national team players were called like ORANGES 1, ORANGES 2 etc, they rarely had many official licenses. But you're right, the gameplay was miles ahead of FIFA - I don't know what it's like now, but in the mid-2000s, PES was king of football games, somehow it seems they lost their way. I absolutely loved playing PES back in the day.
  14. Two things I don't get about kit launches: Why fans get so worked up about them, and secondly why Norwich seems so intent to draw them out over weeks and make fans wait like it's some sort of massive event to build anticipation - it isn't, it's a fecking football kit.
  15. That article is nonsense, there is no way Wagner would have any say in who the replacement will be. Although this is Norwich City FC, so actually, he probably will.
  16. Absolutely standard from the owners, it's always been the same. I remember them being "devastated" when they had to sack Worthy. Christ, I remember them being "devastated" when Brian Hamilton resigned, ffs. Why we aren't run like a proper football club is beyond me. Pretty much all other clubs manage it, yet we are run like some small family business, still, in 2023. It's time for Attanasio to come forward and be clear about what his intentions are for the club.
  17. Similar to when Bryan Gunn was shipped around every department at the club just because he had a job for life - sales and sponsorship manager, player liaison, goalkeeper coach, and even manager. The club doesn't owe anyone a living but Adams seems to have a job for life.
  18. Why wasn't this announced during his end of season interviews just a few weeks ago if it has been known about since March? Seemed like he was staying on by what he was saying in those.
  19. It'll be Liverpool away, the first game of the season on the Friday night.
  20. The question is are other clubs as "unlucky" with injuries as we are? The likes of Hayden, Byram, Jarvis, Thompson, Idah - all millstones around the clubs neck for very little return.
