*****Official match thread v West Ham*****
Molly Windley replied to lappinitup's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
West Ham played well today, their movement and passing were excellent and their back line denied us any space round the box. All a bit slow from City today and the final threaded pass or cross was just not there. Going to be a tough season if all the opposition play like they did today. -
I might put Tettey in next to Amadou and get him to just sit in front of the back 4 and direct him.

Not watched MOTD for years, I am surprised that many still do. Sky have the highlights of every PL game up on Youtube within an hour of the games finishing

TBF I said that Shearer wasn`t a Premier League quality manager after watching him in charge for one game. Me 1 Punters 0

14 working days from the 26/06 was the 17/07 so they probably just have a small delay. If you paid by card or Paypal you will be covered for a full refund if they have stitched you up

New membership scheme
Molly Windley replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Took a risk on the future of my club and invested in the bond scheme Will now need to use the "bonus" paid out when we achieved promotion to buy back the incentives such as free tickets and membership that came with it but have stopped now that they have repaid the investment without consultation over whether I wanted repaying early or not. Now that home and away membership is £100, EPL exec tickets will be £300 a pair and better teams will visit for pre season friendlies they repay and take all those away. Never knocked the board before but personally I`m feeling cheated, which is not how I want to feel about my club. Was there when they needed additional money and dumped when the cash came in. -
Women and Girls football is growing in popularity as a participation sport, but not as one to attend. Average league attendances per season https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47871431 England is green/blue France is red Germany is green

Where will we finish next season - predictions.
Molly Windley replied to Alex Moss's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I`m going for 10 wins and 8 draws = 38 points, which should be enough to keep us up in the 15,16,17th spot -
Always enjoy watching his content on Youtube, would recommend this 4 part season review with Bloom and Goreham on MyFootballWriter channel.

Pukki
Molly Windley replied to Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Had a look on Transfermarkt at Benfica`s dealings, they make some impressive profits on player sales season after season. Pukki, unless we are giving him away does not fit their buying model at all https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/benfica-lissabon/alletransfers/verein/294 -
29 this year, value will depreciate at high rate over the next 3 years We have travelled this route before

Maybe I`m being thick, if I am then it will not be the first time and my feels will not be hurt and someone points out the glaringly obvious.. There is already a thread on new rule changes for next season, but a piece on the PinkUn main site caught my eye. When is it now handball and not handball by the keeper inside the penalty box? My big confusion is over the keeper "attempting to kick the ball to release it into play" as in both scenarios given I believe that the ball is already in play. The IFAB site states in regards to handball by goalkeepers. 18Law changes 2019/20 – text and explanations 2. Indirect free kick Amended text An indirect free kick is awarded if a goalkeeper, inside their penalty area, commits any of the following offences: •controls the ball with the hands/arm for more than six seconds before releasing it •touches the ball with the hands/arm after releasing it and before it has touched another player •touches the ball with the hand/arm, unless the goalkeeper has clearly kicked or attempted to kick the ball to release it into play, after •it has been deliberately kicked to the goalkeeper by a team-mate •receiving it directly from a throw-in taken by a team-mate Explanation •Inclusion of ‘arm’ is consistent with other parts of the Law relating to handling the ball. •When the GK clearly kicks or tries to kick the ball into play, this shows no intention to handle the ball so, if the ‘clearance’ attempt is unsuccessful, the goalkeeper can then handle the ball without committing an offence Link is http://static-3eb8.kxcdn.com/documents/791/171520_110319_IFAB_LoG_changes_and_clarifications.pdf Discussion on text is from page 18 of the PDF.
