Well, whatever the exact reasons for Neil leaving now, the correct decision has finally been reached. Given his feats at Hamilton we took a punt on him being able to beat the money in the top league. He failed at that and has failed miserably this year in managing and getting the most out of the playing assets at his disposal. That alleged pay off agreed at the beginning of the season should mean he won''t need to work any time soon, probably just as well for him. A young man given a fantastic opportunity here and he blew it. Something, I think, he''ll come to realise and regret with the passing of time.

I''d buy a new Defender.

We''ve been woeful in defence for the last 18 months as all evidence shows. Plenty of time to get it sorted, but it''s not going to happen under this manager. Concede another couple today and even this board will surely act.

Agree with that Ian, he turned his back as the ball was crossed. But there were also plenty of opportunities to be get a tackle in as they played their way through the thirds.

I think he came back shortly after the eulogies to dear old Wiz. Perhaps he too wants to be remembered after he''s finally shuffled through life''s exit door - they appear to be of the same vintage. He''s marginally less annoying than in his City 1st incarnation, but certainly no more amusing.

I think £15m was achievable post Euros. Around the £10-12m mark is more realistic now.

Looks like we played well. Great result.

When deciding who goes or stays we''ll, among other factors, have to assess which division we''re likely to be in. As things stand most would guess the Chumps, so agree with most above that Brady, Klose and Naismith would leave at they''re the highest earners. Shifting Naismith is going to be problematical unless we sweeten the deal. And I expect much cheaper replacements, as we attempt to bridge the likely revenue gap for next season.

What will happen if we win? It''s all so confusing. Some have said 4 points from Brentford and the Derby game would be acceptable so still a possibility. If we were to average two points a game from now we''d comfortably make the playoffs.
