1. Some of the negativity on this board is just beyond me. Urgh... It''s probabaly even worse than the ridiculous Facebook fan pages, on which I could swear that some of the people posting about Norwich have never watched football before, let alone been to a Norwich game.So... Thise complaining about the team and manager and board etc. What are you going to do about it, first of all and will you even bother watching the game tonight? Have you even got TV''s?
 2. I''m not hugely concerned about it, as we didn''t really have a clue of who would come in at the start of the season, but it is reasonably annoying that rumours about who we might sign don''t seem to be slipping out into the public domain just now! We''ve got nothing exciting to sink our teeth into regarding transfers, only with those who might leave the club (which, for the most part, we don''t want to think about too much!)The only one, really, has been Ebouhei. Which seemed more like agent/player doing some stirring so that he could get his move to Benfica.
 3.

I think Maddison is a very good player. But I think when people say things like they have to remind themselves about how young he is is is a bit naff. He''s already 21. How many of the best players in the world are unheard of at 21? Not that he is one of the best players in the world. But by that age most players have proven themselves.
Harry Kane started his first Prem match for Spurs just 3 months before his 21st birthday-I''m sure he was probably unheard of to most people until the following season.
He was definitely not unheard of! Was doing well at youth level for England and touted by Spurs for ages as their ''next big thing''!
 4. Going back to the ''stepping stone'' argument... It is entirely true that we could be seen from this persepctive by an emerging player, plyiung their trade at lower level. Exactly the same for a young, up and coming manager wanting a shot at better things or even an old, been there done that, kind of manager who is looking to revitalise their career. Do well at Norwich, a club with good support and facilities, which has enjoyed some media attention and your stock could quite feasibly rise.
 5. Perhaps we''ll now go out and try to sign Kalulu, Ebouhei and some kind of striker from non league!
 6. Players leave football clubs. Hate to tell you...but it happens. Especially with young, talented, British players. We won''t lose all of them just yet. Let''s try and enjoy the rest of the season.
 7.

Maybe we should wait until the end of the window to judge. This is only one potential transaction of perhaps many. And this is only Webber''s second window remember.
And potentially last.
Doubt it will be his last...We''re all up in arms about this and I agree. £11M is a crap offer for a young, talented English player. I''m afraid we''re just going to have to deal with this kind of speculation over our most valuable assets until this window slams shut. However, if Pritch did go for, say, £15M then would we be happier with that? We''ve seen it before... We all complain that a player might be leaving and that he is indespensible to us. Then someone else emerges and we all go ''*player name* WHO???!''
 8.

Pretty ballsy for the sun to claim he''s agreed a deal though- suggests we''re negotiating with them at least. Will be very sad to see him go, will be a huge blow if he''s followed out by Maddison in the summer.
Unfortunately, it is looking increasingly more likely that this will be the case... I wouldn''t be happy selling Pritch for £11M either. I think his value to us at this current time is more than that. It seems as though this story has gained significant traction and I wouldn''t blame AP for wanting to play in the Prem. Huddersfield haven''t done badly at all this season. They certainly won''t get relegated. So it is a more lucrative choice than us at this point in time.
They absolutely could get relegated and I would have them and Brighton as quite likely candidates. I would therefore be surprised if Pritchard was particularly set on this move. he can do better.
Perhaps he can but for a player who wants to ply his trade in the Prem and can get paid more money for doing so, this might well be an attractive proposition. The idea is that he goes there and helps keep them up. Ultimately, that''s what Huddersfield want.

 10.
@Boblolz Maddison I don''t know. Pritchard however, looked excellent when finally given the proper run in the team Neil refused to give him. Saying we would have gone up is a stretch as our problems were much more about defensive ineptitude though.
Exactly right! And this year we can''t score! One way or the other, Norwich will always give us something to moan about... [:D]
 11. Lincoln... Seems a bit of a strange statement to make re AN not playing Madders and Pritch last season. None of us have any idea if we would have got promoted with those two guys playing!
 12.

Ha! Quite possible... Is it a non story you think? Or do we feel as though these double sessions etc. are having an impact on our game? Also, I''ve noticed that the link did indeed become clicky. No idea how I managed that!
The clicky link was down to me, I edited it for you.
So there is an edit button!!!!!
There is for people who control this website, yes!

 14. Sounds as though this has been well and truly dismissed by Farke in today''s presser (which it would be, of course). It does raise the question of how and why the article surfaced, however.Like I said in my OP, I have no issue with our players being super fit and working hard. Just have to be careful with those who are carrying niggles. Farke says, "What shall we do then? Have Christmas drinks and then just meet up for the game?!"Got to love him [:D]
 15.
My January plan this year and in preceding years would be to not be relying on a January plan. This time we need a striker. Last time we needed a defender. Catastrophically, it has usually been a case of paying well over the odds with no gain, just expensive players who appear to lose motivation once the promise of a good end of season outcome vaporises. One of the things I loved most about the Lambert era was how early business was done in the summer. If you don''t have your squad balanced and in place before the summer window ends you are invariably in trouble whoever you are. We should buy no-one in January, we should use the resources we have. This might mean changing the style or playing the youth but the only resolution Norwich City should make in January is to get next season''s business done in the summer and the planning for that should already be underway. I hope and pray Naismith leaves and anyone else who we are forced to sell is because the offer is simply irresistible.
Most of the players for this season were signed in the summer, with the exception of Hanley.Remember, Lambert was incredibly influenced by the way they do things in Germany too.

 17. Have you all seen this by now?http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/norwich-latest-daniel-farke-next-manager-news-a8122101.html (someone will have to make it a clickable link please!)Quite concerning, but I have absolutely no issue with our players being super fit, especially seeing as though the job demands it.
 18.
Just watching the highlights well played Bristol city, the ref might as well have put a Man Utd shirt on, martial handball and Romero throws the ball against flint which he can do nothing about and a questionable free kick for the Utd goal, then to top it off the classless piece of shat Jose describes them as lucky
That''s what I thought too, until I watched the highlights!I''m not saying Bristol didn''t deserve to win, but Man U hit the post a couple of times and the Brizzle keeper made some excellent saves. Having said that, it probably evened out with the chances Bristol had too. Well done to them I say!Mind you, I don''t agree with all the ''why didn''t we keep Korey????!!!!'' posts. I predicted this would happen when I heard he''d scored the winner last night! Haha... He wasn''t needed at the time and nobody was really complaining. Good on him for moving forward with his career and now he''s at a club who are on an upward curve, with a very astute manager.
 19.
Yeah probably one of many players glad to have made the move !!!
I am not sure if you''re joking or not...
 20. Hey here''s an idea. Let''s change our club colours to incorporate red somehow. I am quite sure these billionaire investors are not as turned on by yellow and green as they are with the colour red. [;)][:D]
 21.
Looks like we will be relying on our youngsters for the next few years, I hope they are up to it.
It is entirely true that we will be putting more into the academy and trying to produce some good young ''uns, but that doesn''t mean we''ll be relying on them. Where exactly does it say that in the article? It is an assumption and nothing more.A lot of them won''t be ready to play for the first team for a while, so I feel we''ll invest in some more ''proven'' players (from lower leagues or overseas) once selling our most saleable assets in the summer.
 22.

Ooh, do we have a new scapegoat emerging? It''s been a few months since Russell Martin stepped aside.
Could be as he''s just been given a new contract & that seems to be the norm for scapegoats.Still find it hard to believe that when we''re awash with CB''s RM manages to get a 3 year extention and since he was given it he''s done nothing apart from open somebody''s shop in North Walsham.Another wise financial move by the Club
Pretty sure his contract extension happened when we hadn''t signed our new CB''s, when Klose was injured and when we had no idea whether the people we signed would work out well for this club and in this league! Ironically, it''s the guy from the lower tiers of German football (Zimbo) who has performed better than Franke, who was playing at a higher level and cost more money... Oooooh....Strange hey??? The amount someone costs doesn''t guarantee they''ll be any good. Spooooky...
 23.
Ok. Should have kept my mouth shut, but it was a good away display imo, where we more than matched dirty Leeds - much more about that performance than some of the games we won earlier in the season.   Play with the same competitiveness like that every week and goals will start to come - and results.
No need to have kept your mouth shut, LDC. We were very, very good in that game and it could have easily gone either way.I was disappointed to concede from the set-piece, as we''d already had about three warnings from similar positions. But, aside from a very wayward back pass from Hanley, Leeds didn''t really create lots of chances in open play.We had shots come off the bar, their keeper made some good saves, we worked our way into shooting positions on more than one occasion with some good, technical interplay. It is the latter point that maybe we don''t need so much of, in a league where technical ability and pretty football isn''t the be all and end all.
