1. Should be interesting this year, as for the last 5 years or so, Premier League football was achievable at renewal time. if we continue with Neil, we will probably be in a position where the best we can hope for is another year in The Championship. Having said that, my wife and I will be renewing.
 2. Also, I don''t think it''s fair Rotherham using their players in their best positions
 3. Obviously could buy a player with half of a projected £12-15m for Brady ,, who is a far better asset to the team ,,, now do you understand ? 🙄 Yes I fully understand, I just don''t think it will happen, do you?

I don''t think so, lower wage bill, but weaker squad.
Depends.I would rather have players who want to be here, and give 100%, than players with one eye on the exit door giving less.
So you would settle for us bringing in inferior players? Surely any progressive club should be looking to improve rather than weaken their squad?
We don''t have much choice, do we?Or is there a fantasy world I''m not part of where you get relegated and then buy better quality players?Well done for getting your whingeing in before any deals have been struck though[Y]
So you agree that we''ll be weaker then! Also having a different view to you insnt whingeing. The clear problem is that we will have problems attracting quality players in, therefore it will be even tougher to get in the top six. Seems like a realistic view. I hope that I am totally wrong and we get the additional quality defenders, defensive midfielder and forward that we need.

 7. Ruddy Pinto martin Klose Howson Tettey Jacob Murphy Hoolahan Pritchard Naismith Oliveira Think he can afford to put out this sort of attacking side
 8. You normally see players jostling with each other to take a penalty, what was worrying was that most were looking the other way, such is the level of their confidence. All credit to Whittaker who would have got slaughtered if he''d of missed.
 9.
The centre backs we have available at the moment are perfectly capable at this level and have proved as much in the past. What I would love to see from the window is a new manager to re-galvanise and motivate the players.. I have total confidence that this team can still perform as they did in Neil''s first season - probably even better considering the ins and outs of the transfers windows since then (Oliveira, Klose, Pinto, Pritchard, Naismith). Remember the affect employing Neil had on the team? Particularly Bassong, who went from being isolated from the team to a key part of our promotion push. I could see similar from someone such as Pritchard who seems to have found himself rather out-of-favour for the most part this season. Our players could really use a clean slate to work from. I''m not sure how financially feasible this would be, but reinvesting the bulk of the income from the sale of Brady (for example) on to prizing away someone like Wagner from Huddersfield or Monk from Leeds would be very encouraging. We are still well within reach of the play offs and IMO and any left over money could go on a cover left-back (the only area we''d miss Brady). Obviously none of this will happen because we''ve just put in the performance of the season which guarantees Neil at least another 10 games regardless of how s**t we are... I sincerely hope the Derby game marked a corner-turned and that he has managed to pull the squad up out of the hole they were in. But I''ve had this feeling many times already this campaign and am rapidly losing faith at the likelihood of this happening other than the odd one-off game.
Have you not noticed how many goals we''ve conceded this year? The weakness of our central defenders got us relegated last season and they are the reason we are in our current position. Get rid of Bassong so there''s not a temptation to play him. We need another forward, a defensive midfielder that can actually pass the ball and of course another central defender, if Klose goes make that two! Of course if we were to get a new manger it would also help greatly
 10. If we need the cash to improve the squad and can get decent money for Naismith I''d take it. He''s played a handful of good games and we have Wes, Pritchard and Maddison that can play in his position
 11. Ive seen a fair bit of him too and generally been underwhelmed, for example he missed some really good chances against Derby, but yesterday he played well and so credit is due to him
 12.
Seeing as we never sign anyone ready for the first team for about 3 months (if at all) i assume it wouldn''t bother a prospective buyer if he wasn''t ready for 2 weeks ☺
a That''s clearly because it must be virtually impossible for any player to immediately understand our sophisticated style of play and of course be well below our expected levels of fitness!
 13. Not been his biggest fan but I thought he did really well yesrtday, worked really hard and hassled the Southampton players throughout, took his goal well too. Would certainly prefer him playing with Oliveira than Jerome, who was awful again.
 14. I''m certainly not a Whittaker fan but he did really well today, stepped up to take the penalty when everybody else were hiding. Any other centre forward would have demanded that penalty but Jerome was nowhere to be seen! Also put that lovely cross right on Naismiths head
 15. Got the impression that he would give some ''game time'' to players that haven''t played much. Hope that means that Pritchard gets a start, would love to see Ben Gregory, Canos too. Would imagine that Ruddy won''t play
 16. I guess we should soon expect to see Neil say that his management of Klose is the reason that he played well in the last two games!
 17.

It''s good to be busy TG, any word from Jez about transfer activities here?
Yep - a defender will be signed. That''s a definitive.
Unfortunately it looks like our best defender will be leaving!
 18.
Would have Michael Turner over Bassong any day of the week
I think Tina Turner would do a bettet job!
 19.
I hope he retains the three at the back. And I hope he starts Cameron J again. The lad could easily have had a hat trick on Saturday, and if the first had gone in off his shoulder instead of bobbling to the keeper, he very possibly would have had. He hasn''t had a lot of game time, with Oliveira being preferred, and IMO deserves another start.
One off his shoulder, one off his shin and the third in the stand. He was the main reason we got relegated, continually missing easy chances, same as Bassong should have be dumped at the end of last season
 20. How on earth will Pritchard be able to gain any confidence if he is in an out of the team and each time he plays its with different players and formation. Also, Jerome was appalling and has been for the last 1 1/2 seasons, it''s nonsense to say he was at least in position to miss, if he wasn''t playing somebody else would be in that position and far likelier to score. He is the forward equivalent of Bassong
 21.
Well the stadium certainly turned on Hughton when WBA came to town ... do you folks think emotions have reached that far??? They certainly hadn''t against Huddersfield. One thing''s for sure - no clappers will be provided to hurl at Neil!
Maybe we could hurl happy clappers at Neil!
 22. Really like the look of this team. Why has it taken so long to get here!
 23.

Wes off to Wolves?
I really hope not.
If we do keep Pritchard and Maddison his chances of playing must become much tougher. When Lambert joined Wolves saw a quote where he said he needed experience, maybe 2 + 2 = 5?
