1. Well theres Obertan who''s utter shite. Glen whelan too
2. Could be Sunderland with Cattermole on the way out. Would be unthinkable to think we wouldn''t get some sort of replacement if he leaves.
3. Michael Bailey just quashed the Norwich rumours. Holtby training with Fulham today.
4. We''ve been linked to him today. ''Fulham have been tipped to sign the midfielder on loan, but it is claimed that Canaries boss Chris Hughton has launched a pre-deadline bid to take him to Carrow Road for the rest of the season.'' London based newspaper. Please let it be true.
5. Don''t waste your time convincing pathetic old codgers on here of the authenticity of a quote . People on here will simply refuse point blank to believe you if the story is negative. Best to just say what you have to say and then leave. Twitter isn''t unreliable if you know where to look. If its a rumour, then people will specify its a rumour. Use your own judgement on whether to believe it or not, don''t berate the people that pass on the information.
6.
Well the performance was dire, especially in terms of our midfield. Looking positively though, I thought Ryan Bennett came out with a lot of credit. He is proving a useful CB now. Russell Martin played well and dug deep. Ruddy kept us in the game at points. Tettey looked alright for the 10 minutes he got at the end and is hopefully ready for 90 mins sooner rather than later. Pilks got some good minutes under his belt, not a great show but it''s always difficult first game back. Redmond gave it a good go and provided more threat than any of our other players in just 20 minutes of game time. Olsson, Bassong and Hooper were pretty average, can''t really berate or praise them too much. The rest (RVW, Elmander, Johnno Fer, Snoddy) were poor and will need to forget about this game.
Russell Martin? What game did you watch?! Olsson was alright as was Hooper. Ruddy didn''t do much wrong. Redmond was good when he came on. Touch let him down at the death though.
7. Great. A Holty winner, assisted by Hoolahan is gonna be televised for the whole world to see.
8. Great news. Expect him to be a Norwich player by the end of the month. Ideal replacement for Hoolahan.
9. This is from Football Rumours. You do realise anybody can write on there?
10. He seems like a good manager right now but he hasn''t had an awful lot of experience. Went straight from managing Falkirk to managing Coventry City at a time when Mark Robins had left and not a lot of other managers would have fancied the job. He seems to have got the best from the young players at the club; Callum Wilson, Conor Thomas, Cyrus Christie, Blair Adams. He''s done a fantastic job for a club that couldn''t sink any lower, they were at rock bottom. He''s not ready yet though. If he gets them promoted and they have a good season in the Championship, he might be worth a shout.
11. Butterworth? Still spouting useless nonsense on Twitter.
12. Just stop. Van Wolfswinkel has had plenty of chances to put the ball in the net. Be patient. Nothing to do with CH.
13. He surely won''t be ready for Saturday? Risky business from Hull though. 14m for 2 out of form strikers.
14. Did he really say that? Depressing if so. His career was down the pan before we took a punt. If he''s our Captain and he only sees us as an opportunity ''to play week in week out'' then theres been a huge error of judgement on Hughtons behalf. What a sad state of affairs.
15. Yawn. The club won''t sack Hughton now, it''s too late for that - too much of a risk.
16. I''m sad. Seems Holty was the carrot for Hoolahan. They''ve bought 3 points against us with that at least.
17. I''m particularly encouraged about the space he creates for other players. Might see a bit more freedom in the middle of the park for Fer to link up with RVW and Hooper.
18.
I didn''t hear it but let''s guess. Saturdays game: * Disappointing to have lost but they are a very good team and confidence is high. We did create a few chances and we pushed them to the end. Tonight''s game: * Fulham are a very good team and have quality. Craven cottage is a difficult place to go and we will have to be at our best. They will be hurt from Saturday and its up to us to be hard to beat. Jonas Gutierrez: * I had him from my time at Newcastle. He possess great quality, works hard and will be an asset to this club. Hull: * Hull are a very good team and have quality. Steve has got them playing really well and we will have to be at our best. They will be hurt from Saturday and its up to us to be hard to beat. Grant Holt: * No, I''m not surprised because grant is a terrific football who possess great quality and endeavour.
To be fair, he only says what any other manager says. He did say they trying to sign a few players though.
19.
I didn''t hear it but I just like to say that I''m sick and tired of this sort of thing and it should be banned until we get a manager who prepared to do something else other than this, its not good enough, I know feel that we shouldn''t even bother, what I wanted to hear wasn''t this, I''d much prefer something else and until that happens I don''t think that we''ll have a hope of doing what I want.
What on earth are you trying to say here?
20.

The fact is, Berbatov is lazy.
No, that''s not a fact - that''s your opinion, and one which a number of top managers clearly disagree with, unless you think that over 200 premier league appearances is irrelevant (as apparently is the FACT that both Spurs and Man Utd thought he was good enough)...The FACT is that Berbatov WILL score goals if given good supply, my OPINION is that 99 teams out of 100 would take a player with his technical ability, shooting accuracy and goalscoring record over your OPINION that he''s too lazy...
Okay Indy Bones. As ever, you''re opinion is of course the right one. You seem to think I''m debating his goalscoring record/ability. You should read over my posts again.
21.

Despite his stint at Utd he''s never really made the most of his ridiculous natural ability.
Yes, I can see how he''s let himself down by maintaining a 2-2.5 game to goal ratio throughout the vast majority of his career...Apparently these days simply scoring hatfuls of goals isn''t enough if you don''t help defend or chase every ball punted forwards...
Oh so you''ve decided we''re talking about his goal scoring record now? Fair enough. The fact is, Berbatov is lazy. So is Ruiz. We can''t accommodate that sort of player.
22. If we''re being linked to players like Gutierrez, we''ve no chance of pulling this kind of signing out of the bag.
23. Its not so much the fact it''s Gutierrez - it''s more like its letting go of Hoolahan and Pilkington and replacing them with Gutierrez. Thats the problem. Happy to eat my words but it could relegate us. Hoolahan and Pilkington are genuinely Premier League quality and we''re letting them leave to our rivals and replacing them with a player on a slippery slope out of the top flight.
