1. As it was a clear attempt to unsettle the club/fans just before the new season, I wonder if the club has any legal recourse?I mean, does the journo get himself off the hook by using the old "a source said" and just saying "well some bloke told me that, so I reported it"Because if so, I think a rumour of a new Paul Jewell sex tape involving donkeys* is probably in order.Anyone know a redtop reporter?*that''ll be the entire Ipswich squad, then.
 2. The Daily Fail have taken the story down. Says it all really.A fabricated story by a scummer that was outed as such on here within minutes of it appearing.
 3. Never bought them myself, except for maybe the first few games I went to as a kid. I suppose it would be nice to have the odd one for big games but other than that they would just add to the multiple boxes of other crap I have that I don''t have the heart to throw out.
 4.
Oh, and to = direction, too = excess amount of.
Oh and Holt has a capital H. No comma required after "and" either.Must try harder.Binner.
 5.
The issue is, to be perfectly blunt, that First Wizard is a pr!ck.
Nail, head, hit.
 6. He was a rock in the defence of my famous double promotion winning Bury side in FM2009, sold him for 4m in the end. Lambert is obviously nearly as good as Football Manager as me.
 7.
Hucks could still do a job for us - even in the Prem.   He wouldn''t be the first player to come out of retirement either, look at Stephen Carr.   Sign him up on a 1 year contract[Y]
C''mon....seriously fella, I''d love to see a Roy of the Rovers style story where Hucks arose like a phoenix from the flames and tormented defences for fun again....but let''s be honest, it''s not gonna happen. The man himself has stated more than once how his body was feeling about league football, I doubt that''s going to change.
 8. I like him too...a lot. Easy to forget what a big part he played in our promotion to the Championship and he''s so young to be playing that many games with that kind of pressure.I''m sure Mr Lambert sees a future for him here. If he keeps his head down and works hard then his chance will come. It''s a long season and injuries suspensions are bound to play a part.
 9.
That''s my point. A team that''s supposed to represent east Angles doesn''t represent east Angles. We need to spend more money on our children.
I''ll assume you meant East Anglians. as the alternative is just too silly to even consider. So when was this great era of Norwich only signing people from East Anglia then? Was it in 1912, when Liverpool born of Irish heritage Peter Burke signed?Perhaps it was in 1914, when Manchester born Arthur Wolstenhome signed from Gillingham?Or in 1928 Bernard McLaverty (great old East Anglian name that) signed? What about in 1955 when Sammy Chung (English Mother, Chinese Father) played 48 games for City?Or South African born Sandy Kennon? The mythical nirvana you''re dreaming about never existed. Football clubs always have and always will strive to sign the best players they can.
 10. In order of appearance, in the last few days we''ve had:"Holt''s incredible journey continues" "Crofts caps incredible journey" and "An incredible journey that too Lambert to the top"OK, pinkun - we get the idea. It''s been a journey. An incredible one. But in a language so rich as ours, can you not dig a little deeper? (Well I''ve got to moan about something!)
 11. You don''t wanna leave that there mate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKNBPIMsCwU
 12.
I could well be bin boy I''m in the Britannia
[:D]
 13.
underwhelmed if true.
Are you ever anything other than underwhelmed?I can''t be arsed to search back through the forum to see what you thought of the signings of Hoolahan, Holt and Martin (R) but I can imagine and I bet I wouldn''t be far wrong.
 14. This is Barry Fry we''re dealing with - the Terry Tibbs of English football. He''s not going to accept our first offer, but you know damn well he''ll sell if the price is right.
 15. With his record, he''s got be be odds on to bin his car at some point between London and Scumville.
 16.
THEY ARE !!!!! Nah fair point mate. Just get frustraited when people point fingers and have a new boo boy every week. To start on Henri just seems a bit tight to me !
But in the same breath you questioned Hoolahan and Holts ability.I agree about the boo boys, stretching back to Andy Hughes and before it seems some fans aren''t happy unless they''ve got a scapegoat. No excuse for it on matchday, it can only affect the team badly imo. It''s Lambert''s job to decide whos good enough, not the whingers who can''t manage a song all game, but miraculously find the energy to boo at the end.
 17.
It''s about time we pasted someone. Let''s say 5-1 (Ward, Hoolahan (p), Holt, Hoolahan, Fox) Come on yoo yellers.
6-0 and if we don''t win by at least that I''m going to boo the team off. Then I''m going to scweam and scweam until I''m sick, just because I paid for my ticket and I can.
 18. In keeping with the spirit of the pinkun forums...my super secret source at the heart of the club of course...Or I might have heard it on Radio Norfolk on the way home from work ;)
 19.
I personally won''t clap or boo
He''s not in the squad anyway.
 20.
I thought that he sounded like a complete cock, but each to their own! [:''(]
That''s rich coming from someone from the midlands. Is there a dippier sounding accent?
 21.
Your talking B*ll*cks [:P]
Well as the forums resident expert on the subject, I bow to your superior knowledge. [;)]
