  1. I think VAR checks if the ball goes out of play if it was within the phase of play that a goal was scored from. However there is no definitive evidence to this! Remeber the Qatar world cup game, Japan v Germany i think it was? It was not unanimous as to whether the ball fully crossed the bi-line.
  2. Idah could not be deemed offside. The Hull defender intentionally tried to play the ball, it hits his abdomen and fell kindly for Idah to tap in. It is classed as a 'Deliberate Play' by IFAB rules, therefore no offside offense can be awarded, as no advantage has been gained as a result of the Hull Player's failed clearance.
  3. Exactly what I was thinking. Even if Trump somehow runs, he will likely lose again, America is a one-party state. And even that one party being the Democrats seem totally at odds with each other. Look how hard the party are trying to protect Biden from the media questioning around the 'Hunter Biden Burisma corruption' fiasco, as well as potential debating against Williamson and/or RFK.
  4. Years ago, did you hear about the Ipswich Supporter who threw a pound coin at David Sheepshanks? When the Police Arrested him, they asked him to clarify if was a takeover bid!
  5. Did you hear about the Ipswich supporter that went to his local Car Boot and parked facing the the wrong way? w**ker ended up selling his engine and had to walk home!
  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationwide_opinion_polling_for_the_2024_United_States_presidential_election Polls say neck and neck. The Undecided vote is unlikely to vote for Trump though. Also there are many unknowns that can happen before next year. Machin and RFK are trying to to destablise and unseat Biden in the primaries. RFK has already strongly alluded to running as a third party if he is snubbed by the Democratic Party. Likewise with Machin. This could siphon votes away from the main two parties even if its only a few % of the vote for individual states. This scenario happened in 1992 to let B Clinton in against Bush Sr who looked nailed on, but was hurt massivley by Perot's campaign. And again in 2000 when a strong American Green Party campaign siphoned votes from Al Gore and saw him lose a couple of states that he certainly shouldn't have lost, letting Bush in. It is not out of the realms of posibility that Biden and/or Trump could become unfit for Public Service before the next election given their age: If this happened and Kamala Harris became de-facto POTUS before the 2024 GE, then that is only scenario where Trump would probably win strongly, given Harris' unpopularity she would likely get run over as Dem voters would be hesitant like they were with Hilary in 2016.
  7. Not surprised, a terrible mechanism that is nothing more than a greedy cash grab for more money out of supporters, under the guise of a "prestigious" Membership Scheme. Any objection and dissent to this system by our supporters was (unsurprisingly) flagrantly ignored by the club, and it looks like they've fully gone full copycat too.
  8. A few names immediately come to mind: Kei Kamara Marc Libra Henri Lansbury Leroy Lita Elvis Hammond The winner for me by a mile is Dani Pacheco 😂, a short-lived stint at Norwich, only six apperances yet most can probably remember his contributions in the conclusion of the 2010/11 promotion season.
  9. @RobJames"Sorry old chap, you may have attended a dozen away games, but you don't qualify for a ticket.....though you can join our gold club, £400 to visit Old Trafford." Hear Hear. I and many others have been alienated by the club's inept and frankly greedy method of home and away ticket sales. There are a few I know that have totally given up with the membership scheme as it is broken and unfair: In the recent two respective Premier League seasons, I have friends who support Man U, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Leicester etc. who paid their money just to guarentee their ticket for these games and nothing else, at the expense of the "Die Hards" and genuine Supporters.. The Points system was much fairer, however, the club have killed the golden goose with the loyal away following to try and scrab a few thousand more quid in membership sales. I believe this has been mentioned by one of the supporters groups to the club previously, but as always the club don't seem remotely interested in listening to the thoughts of the supporters, especially since Kensell's exit.
  10. Good Luck Pukki, enjo your time in "Mini Soda" 🇫🇮
  11. you missed Jordan Rhodes. John Kennedy worth a mention, certainly a better footballer than some of those already mentioned. I'd have Dave Marshall in over Angus Gunn too.
  12. One might say he is simply biden his remaining term as POTUS. 😎*sees self out*
  13. Hear hear! Biden cannot run. I think RFK will clear up the Democratic nomination. It is ridiculous to think that this time next year we could actually see a sequel of Biden v Trump on our TV screens ! 😂
  14. Interesting YouGov Poll results. https://docs.cdn.yougov.com/rj3bg6ve06/econTabReport.pdf The results are unanimous that Biden should not run again. Also unanimous that Biden is no longer the strongest Democratic candidate. Interstingly, look at Robert F Kennedy Jr.'s favouribility ratings compared to the other Policitians on there. Could he get enough of a cult following to dislodge Joe? The consensus is that Trump shouldn't run again. Even 25% of the GOP members in that sample in that survey said Trump should not run!
  15. If we were any other club, I would say Wagner would not be in charge at the start of the season IF Webber disappears to Leeds imminently, and a new Sporting Director or interim role thereof is appointed (that isn't Neil Adams). But this is Norwich we are talking about. We now have no Chairman, no CEO, and a huge mystery around the actual ownership of the club... at least until the issuing of new shares to Attanasio fiasco is announced.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln4_SNKbS_U Maddison had a copycat of this a few years back!
  17. ITV has appointed a legal team to investigate its handlings of the saga. If he has groomed the lad before he has turned sixteen, a criminal investigation should be invoked. Whether the relationship was consentual or not is irrelevant, he has used his celebrity status and influence as a vehicle to groom him, all whilst in a position of trust at ITV. There is no way Schofield can come back from this. Interesting that the other side of the story hasn't been told, must be lots of NDAs / Injuctions still protecting Schofield's false narratives, which at this stage are hanging by a thread, because his web of lies has collapsed. His former ITV colleagues are running for the hills to distance themselves from him, all to protect their own careers. Most were partially, if not fully complicit on the truth that he was grooming a minor. As you say Holmes and Wooton are making themselves look like fools, as they are trying to cover their own backs.
  18. In the 2011/12 season, we scored the 7th most goals in the division and thats ultimately what kept us up. Lambert had the team playing and they never knew when they were beaten. Its just a shame we never got the right man to replace Lambert after he jumped ship to go to Aston Villa. We never looked in trouble that sesaon either, as Wolves and Blackburn were a complete bonfire for most of the season. After the 10-game unbeaten run, that 2012/13 season rightfully fell off a cliff. Only that late Kei Kamara goal against Everton kept us high and dry, until as you say, Holt and a few of the other players took matters into their own hands, and burnt their bridges with Hughton. As for the following 2013/14 season, Hughton should have been booted in January (or earlier). The 0-0 draw at home against a woeful Cardiff side in October was a foreshadow of what was to come. Hughton said the draw was a good result, and then ruined RVW's confidence when he lamented his actions in the post-match interview for unsportingly scoring in the final minute (the goal should have stood). Hughton was living on borrowed time for the rest of that season, especially after we blew up against Fulham on Boxing Day. Again those at the top of the club made the cringeworthy decision to put Neil Adams in charge, way too late with an impossible task.
  19. Who's Trump choosing? MTG? 😉😂
  20. Things you love to see lol. I expect him to emulate Andrew Neil during his BBC departure, and disappear into the abyss with no one listening to him. However, Carlson is a very short price with one of the bookies to be on the Republican ticket as Vice President nominee.
  21. Plenty to choose from. My choices would be: Dublin, Huckerby, Holt, Ruddy, Hoolahan
  22. Brooks Koepka should change his name to Brooks Choker!
  23. Ouch, Clayton won't forget that one any time soon!😂 That's nearly as cringeworthy as the Kay Burley Interview with Mick Lynch. It's always satisfying to watch a Gotcha question turned on its head by the Interviewee to expose incompetent "journalism" of the Interviewer.
  24. Daniel Ayala's antics were equally as disgusting that day. Giving it large to the Barclay at full time too. Ironically, a few weeks later he looked like a right mug when Jerome hilariously disposesed him for our first goal at Wembley. Ayala must still have nightmares about Cameron Jerome. 😂
  25. Robert Snodgrass set-pieces and the first man
