League 1 is really poor this season. If they don’t go up then they never will. Their fans are raving about the performances but in reality the competition so far has been sub standard. Be interesting to see how they fair against the better teams and how they bounce back from a defeat or two.

At the start of the season I thought Watfords front three would make them favourites for a top two spot. However with Emanuel Dennis now signed for Forest, Jao Pedro close to signing for Newcastle and Sarr linked to Palace there chance have reduced massively. Good news for us and the rest of the Championship. Be interesting to see who they bring once Sarr and Pedro go.

I agree we are not far away from turning it around and Smith needs to be given time for Idah, Hayden and Sara to get fully match fit. Very impressed with Gibbs, he must start the next game. Nunez looks to be an astute signing and Ramsey’s cameo was impressive. Sadly Rashicha just doesn’t look interested and Sargent hasn’t worked out. Concerns with Pukki’s performance aswell but hoping once he gets that first goal he can kick on. Smith needs to find the right line up and fast!

Unfair on Cantwell as he has done well in pre season, shown desire and determine to get back in the squad and first team setup. Will get better the more games he plays. Idah was a real handful in some of the games last season and was very unlucky with the timing of the injury. Will be a real handful at Championship level when match fit. Agree that Rashicha and Sargent have underperformed so far. Need to show there worth over the next few games otherwise we have other options who are close to starting. Sinani, Hernandez and Ramsey etc.

If Hayden's injury continues to be an issue. I suggest send him back and look elsewhere for another CDM. We need improvements and we need them quickly integrated into the team.

If Leicester are prepared to sell for £45m then I can see a whole host of clubs coming in challenging for his signature, starting a bidding war. £45million for James Maddison is an absolute bargain.

What are u on about? The cupboard is hardly bare. Rashicha, Cantwell, Aaron’s, Giannoulis, Sargent, Tzolis, Gunn, Krul, Hanley, Idah, Gibbs, Rowe, Omobamidele, Gibson to name just a few will all demand a substantial sum. Add to that Sinani, Dowell, Hernandez, Gibbs, Hugill, Springett.

Certainly not doomed but not confident either. Lack of midfield options concern me. If Hayden and the new chap Sara were fit and available then slightly more. I would love us to push the boat out and get one of the two lads in from Coventry, Gustavo Hamer or Callum Ohare.

Gustavo Hamer would be my choice too. Push the boat out, get him and that is an impressive midfield mix. McLean, Hayden, Sara, Hamer, Sorenson and Gibbs.
