  1. It''s not about the goals and I''m not saying he''s not working. I''m saying that at present he has the first touch of an elephant and looks low on confidence in front of goal.
  2. Very worried about Holt''s form. Very poor again today.
  3. Got a hand to it, probably should have pushed it round the post but it''s hardly a proper clanger. The mistake was sitting off and giving them so much space in the first place. Reasonable half, we went 2-0 up without really playing that well. Hoolahan has been poor and Holt ineffective thus far.
  4. Well done to Renskay for this shout, sat there reading through, shaking my head at the dinosaurs on the first page rubbishing you though they knew absolutely nothing on the matter. God forbid we should sign someone that doesn''t play in the English league''s eh?
  5. It''s only as important as any other game, we could win 10-0, then lose at the weekend, have everyone below us win and be back to where we were, that''s just football. Let''s not make this out to be some sort of relegation decider, it''s not even Christmas yet.
  6. I see Paul Moy is throwing his toys out because Hughton isn''t Lambert again.
  7. Just take every game as it comes and enjoy it while it lasts. I, being the eternal pessimist always expect the next game to be the loss, I have no idea why and have no grounds to base it on, but it has made for some lovely surprises of late!
  8. To be fair Smudger is right on this occasion. I thought Tierney was very, very good last season, it''s only when I saw Garrido have a few games that I realised how much better he is. Tierney has been pretty substandard this season I remember him getting an absolutely torrid time in pre season (Ajax was it?) and I know he wasn''t the only one, but the game against Fulham was horrendous on his part, directly responsible for Duff''s first goal I believe... So yes, Smudger might be right but there''s no need to be so obnoxious and surprisingly enough, people do change their minds.
  9. If Garrido is fit he must play. A great character as he is, Tierney has seemed a bit of a liability whenever he''s played this season. Javier is a class above him and it would be idiocy to drop him.
  10. Hoolahan has been woeful since his miss, was playing well til that.
  11. Yeah Baldyboy, how dare we lose away to the champions of Europe.
  12. I think the thing that worries me most is there seems to be a few snivelling little worms around here actually willing the team to do badly so they can say I told you so. After the point and performance at Spurs they crawled back into their holes just wishing and waiting for us to slip up and it''s pathetic.
  13. But the point is, people are jumping on Hughton''s back for not being attacking enough when we''ve had chances to win games. Hughton cannot control Bassong getting injured. He can''t control whether Kane finishes a one on one. He can''t control how clinical Snodgrass is. He can''t make Surman finish his chance against Newcastle. The chances are being created with his style. Obviously we took a hammering on Saturday but then we did in the same fixture last season and hey, you can''t win them all.
  14. Very good post, and wholeheartedly agree.
  15. Yes. Far better. Gotta love the traditional Norfolk fear of change.
  16. Whether he starts slow or not, we can''t afford for him to play like that til mid October. Drop him now, as Lambert did last season, til he bucks his ideas up. I don''t think we''ve seen the last of the Holt of last season, but I think a spell as super sub will do him wonders.
  17. You didn''t even watch the game. I can''t remember any mistakes from Bassong.
  18. Unless there''s a vast improvement in the next 5 minutes, I''d be getting Morison warmed up to come on for Holt.
