The truth is the Club were not that bothered if we stayed up so Smith was an easy appointment to make. The Club have never been bothered about the PL as they prefer being in the Championship. As long as we keep getting paid, what are by our standards, vasts sums of money for failure then there really isn't a reason to change anything.

They get these players as (a) European Football is almost gauranteed, (b) winning a domestic tropy is almost gauranteed and (c) what Rangers don't spend on transfer fees they are able to pay these players very high wages. And that's 3 reasons why players of that ilk won't ever come here

Sooner the better. It's been on the cards from Day 1 so let's get it over with. And yet, just another 4 wins is probably all it would have taken to survive. All I want is a team that is competitive in the League that they are in, a team that plays exciting attacking football, scores goals, wins more games than they lose and doesn't get relegated. I could put up with that until the current owners decide to quit.
