You miss Martin out of the team altogether and play Whittaker ahead of him who has played a handful of games and one season?
Yes, that does seem strange, especially as the OP does mention Martin in his first sentence. However, does Martin actually count as a ''jock'', as he was born and bred in Brighton? I think all of the players I recognise in the team listed were properly scots, at least from their accents! -
Watford-born there, lived around the area all my life, was a season ticket holder in my teens. Despite all the hate for them over their loans, they also have a very good academy and have had more players this season who came from their youth system than we have had for many years. Of course they haven''t provided anyone like the Murphys!

Mister Chops for me too, I like someone who can make a joke out of any subject, need more like him to lighten the mood on here. -
Went to see Jesus Jones at the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town last night. Strange gig, they payed their first album all the way through then did a few other songs as an encore. Didn''t seem to have rehearsed much and didn''t play their most sucessful record, but it was still good to see a reasonably famous band playing such a small venue-much smaller than I remembered it being.

A work colleague who is a Leeds fan asked me recently what had happened to Snodgrass, said he didn''t used to argue with refs so much. I don''t know what his discipline was like at Leeds, can anyone remember noticing?

Ok, i understand that we have had some bad decisions against us this season-but please also include the bad decisions that went in our faour.

Was watching on a dodgy US stream, Warren Barton said that the ref couldn''t see the shirt pulling for the Pen and the linesman, although a long way away, had a better angle-I would agree, as KK definitely had a huge handful of the Arsenal player''s shirt-so regardless of who saw it, it would appear to be the right decision. Athough it was obviously not a corner in the first place, and the Arsenal player didn''t actually appear to be hampered by the shirt pulling, and only fell down after KK had cleared the ball. BTW If you think officials in the Premier League are corrupt I think you''re seriously deluded! -

As the title says. He started the game, as many of you on here wanted him too, and was just awful. Did not win a signal ball in the air, his hold up play and passing was laughable, I''m sorry but he is a massive liability and needs to go in the summer...
Scores goals for fun in the championship so we should probally keep him.
He''ll have retired a long time before we''re in the Championship again.
In terms of football quality this is about the worst Norwich performance I have ever seen. They are totally devoid of confidence and nobody finds any space going forward it is simply a case of playing comfortable balls across the defence. Ball control and losing possession when under little pressure is grim. The odd cross in to the box is invariably poor and Kamara and Holt embarrassing. Holt loks unfit and uninterested. Only bright light is Whittaker who is having an excellent game. Would bring on Becchio and Pilkington to play up front. Amazingly we are still in the game against a very average and lacklustre Arsenal. BUT we are still in the game so lets keeping hoping for a miracle.
Er, Pilks isn''t on the bench? -

A bit different to the 3-3 last season-it looked like both teams would score every time they had an attack. Not sure that either team will score today. -

Holt and Kamara to start in a 4-4-2
Mr Angry replied to Tetteys Jig's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If we want to have about 30% possession then sure, go 4-4-2. If we want to actually compete in midfield I''d suggest Wes needs to play.
We had between 30% and 40% possession (according to various reports) at home to Arsenal with 4-4-1-1 so how much worse could it be with 4-4-2? And we won that game! -

I''m not going to bother, I''d have us on 53 points and just missing out on the Europa League. -

Me and the wife had a nice afternoon/evening yesterday listening to vinyl-Graham Parker''s Stick To Me, Memorabilia by Soft Cell, The Clash''s first album, Closer by Joy Division, a couple of Smiths'' 12 inches and then Hatful Of Hollow. Put me in a great mood, which was ruined by the 1st e-mail I read when I got into work this morning!
