1. Hi Cornwall Canary, Great to hear from a fellow York-based Canary! I live south of York between the city and Selby. I''m planning on going to the Leeds game later in the month. Pop me a DM on here or follow me on twitter and say hello and maybe we can sort something out - @rushbrooke90 Cheers.
2. If you''re not already a trend-setter, I urge you to get with the times in advance and get on email. I''ve conducted my own studies and predict that by the year 2020, at least 15% of all business-related correspondence will be done via the medium.
3. Couldn''t bear not seeing this thread at the top of the message board for an entire year, it''s become part of the Pink''un message board fabric. Perhaps we could put a message on the new big screen in an attempt to find the Cheeseboard culprit after all these years.
4. For me, you simply have to be these days. It''s the future.
5. My earliest memories of this board (scarily around 13 years ago) include Wiz. He made me angry and he made me smile, a real character - arguably the biggest this forum has ever seen. Genuinely saddened to hear of his passing, needless to say I send my best wishes to his family. I shall raise a glass of Jack and coke up in his name this evening.
6. Oliveira would be an upgrade on Lafferty - no doubt. Whilst Sinclair is a different player to Naismith, it''s difficult to see how he wouldn''t be a better fit for us based purely on Naismith''s performances for us so far. An interesting 12 hours to ensue.
7. The kid is a serious talent. Liverpool wanted to keep him on but he turned down various contract offers (similar to Canos in that respect). If we manage to shift Naismith and Lafferty and end up with a strike-force of Jerome, Oliveira, Sinclair and +1 other (ideally a permanent, proven striker of the Rhodes ilk) I''ll be very happy indeed.
8. Putting 2 and 2 together but Gary Holt has advertised himself on LinkedIn - asking for anyone with a coaching role to get in touch. Seems to me like he was pushed rather than jumping to another imminent role. Would further suggest to me that AN knows he needs to make backroom changes, hopefully his successor will be announced sooner rather than later. Before anyone questions the legitimacy of his account on LinkedIn, he''s had conversations with McVeigh and Fleming on there so I''d assume its genuine.
9. Not for me. We''re well stocked in the CM department (especially with the possibility of Tshibola joining) and AMC is also well stocked with Wes and Maddison. Nick Powell can also play up front but I''d be gutted to see one of our (at least) two striker signings being NP.
10. im sparticus - Leroy Fer scored for the Netherlands in the 2014 WC whilst he was still with Norwich. I''m sure there are other examples but that''s the most recent before this summer.
11. Although that''s how the AVIVA Community Fund logo appeared when they announced the deal, I''d be horrified if the logo was in that same layout on the shirt. Surely the AVIVA needs to be central with "Community Fund" directly below - the above version is aesthetically horrendous.
12. NCFC offer accepted this morning. Thought to be in the region of £2m after initial bids of £1m + add ons rejected. We''ll need to get personal terms over the line sharpish as it''s likely other teams (including the likes of WBA and Palace) will also be looking to agree a fee.
13. So, who do you want to face first game? (Yes, I know we play everyone once home and away and it doesn''t really matter but it''s sure to be another slow news day on the NCFC front). Remember, we haven''t won our first league game of the season since August 2002 (Grimsby at home 4-0). I''d quite like a team such as Rotherham at home - not the strongest in the league but also doesn''t have the momentum of promotion to ride on.

15. I''d like Dwight Gayle from Palace, though I suspect newly-promoted sides will show an interest and he''ll likely want to stick around in the Prem. Failing that, Moussa Dembele from Fulham would be a good signing. 15 goals in 41 apps this season in an average side. Only 19 too, with the likes of Hoolahan, Maddison, Murphy''s as well as inevitable signings, he could really develop with us. Tom Lees from Wednesday would be a good signing at CB, I''d also be looking at Jake Bidwell at Brentford should Olsson leave.
16. My interpretation is that he was in now way implying that he could be leaving, but still remaining quite non-committal, but that''s always been the case. I think he''s just completely gutted. He''ll be here next season, I''m certain.
17. Some Norwich fans are incredibly deluded. The reaction would be worse because of the day of the week? If we lose, Norwich fans will change their entire perspective on a decision that was made months ago? Why not stop the drivel, get behind the team and be POSITIVE? OTBC, a 3-1 win tonight I reckon.
18.
My plastic friend you could always go to carra Rud and see the real thing or is that to much trouble 😡😡😡😡😡😡
So because I live and work in London and don''t leave until 6pm, that makes me a plastic? Please don''t tar us with the same brush.
19. The frame is not the target. Do you perceive the outside of a darts board to be the target if your dart lands there?
20. Another term for "shot on target" is "shot on goal". If you hit the woodwork, you haven''t scored a goal, so how can that be perceived as "on target"?
21. Yes Tore you can. There is an app called ''Photon'' in the app store. I bought it for around £2.99 a couple of years ago and watched all the games on there last season and now listen to Canaries Player on there too. It''s a browser that supports flash player, all you do is go to the Canaries Player page and click the lightening bolt button the screen and away you go.   Hope this helps!
22. I read Garry Birtles'' weekend review on the Sky Sports website this afternoon and one thing that caught my eye was the following: "Lewis Grabban did fantastically well for Bournemouth and I read afterwards that he wasn’t satisfied with his performance. He went straight back home and had a look at the game because he felt he should have scored a hat-trick. That is absolutely brilliant, it’s not enough to win the game with the only goal, you want to do better. Going home and analysing your performance is outstanding." Whilst I am not saying that this isn''t the case with other players, it''s incredibly refreshing to hear about this sort of attitude. LG clearly wasn''t happy with his overall contribution (it''s fair to say he could have had at least another two goals) but it''s one thing for a player to identify this, and another for them to take the time to review and I''m sure improve. I really think we could have a 25+ goals per season striker on our hands if he continues this form, stays injury free and continues to want to improve.
23. I''m listening to it on my iPad as we speak. Download the "Photon" app.
