1.

well i can think of bu**er all else to do on a saturday in Norwich!!
get on your old tractors n start cropping those fields? joking before i get shot down
tbh people are far more likely to work in insurance than agriculture
2.
anyone know why taylor was subbed tonight???  looked surprised to see his number go up!!!mind games by roeder???  they must be discussing a loan extension by now!!!
BBC says he was injured
3. With Preston stuffing Hull 3-0, who do you reckon is most likely to get relegated this season?I''d say Blackpool, Scunthorpe and probably Cardiff
4.
That stats on the bbc website look bad, can someone tell me how its actually going....?
Yeah, 1 shot on target, 1 shot off target and 0 corners makes it sound like we''re getting battered.....
5. Whats our formation? Trying to work out how Hucks fits into that line-up. Some strange decisions there Doherty for Shackell seems a bit odd, as does playing without a recognised targetman..
6. I think it speaks volumes that one of Bruce''s first acts was to get himself a new central defensive partnership after getting promoted, with Ridgewell/Djorou being first choice and Taylor/Jaidi being sent to the reserves. As a Brum supporting colleague admitted, Taylor''s too good for the Championship, but not good enough for the Premiership. After beating Spurs in his first game, I think it''s unlikely that McCleish will rock the boat, and their biggest problem is a lack of cutting edge upfront, their defence seems ok.
7. BBC have Noriwch''s possession at 65%! So either the counters broken or Stoke can''t get a sniff in a packed midfield.
8.
we must give our best shot at communicating to him that he is the man us fans want at this club! so please all, take up the challenge!!!.
maybe smudger could organise a protest..... :-P
9. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7116823.stmWillie McKay is the agent of David Marshall.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/6739119.stmThough thankfully it was Souness that signed Faye for Newcastle, and it was just before Roeder''s time.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amdy_Faye"His transfer from Portsmouth to Newcastle United in January 2005 was one of those about which the Stevens inquiry report in June 2007 expressed concerns: “There remains inconsistencies in evidence provided by Graeme Souness - a former manager of the club - and Kenneth Shepherd - apparently acting in an undefined role but not as a club official - as to their respective roles in transfer negotiations.”
10. Interesting to see that Brown isn''t on the bench, hopefully this means that Evans is an effective targetman :-P
11.
I agree, why are people confused? It just goes to show that anyone can start a thread about nothing, and folk will reply to it......But it''s been amusing and interesting. EH?[8-|]
It also shows how easily people will start arguing :-P
12. Good post, it''s certainly a game we can''t afford to let Blackpool win. Despite their position, Blackpool haven''t lost at home yet this season and we haven''t won away, so I''d settle for a point.
13. From Roeder''s comments after Plymouth, and the dropping from the squad of Lappin, Brellier and Murray, I would guess that their cards are marked.I''d hope that Roeder would take a second look at Ryan Jarvis to see if he could get anything out of him.I don''t think Taylor''s loan can be extended, since he''s over 24.
14. Problem is we can''t just stick him upfront, because Cureton is scoring, and even if Dion is injured, Cureton and Hucks would never work.Stick him on the bench, I''m sure we''ll need fresh legs on Tuesday
15. Why on earth didn''t Roeder take Dublin off when we were 2-0 up? Especially with a game on Tuesday, and now he''s injured!
16. Since the loan window is now closed, I think Transfer Talk might be a bit quiet
17. After leaving on a Bosman to go to Ipswich? What do you expect, us to bake him a cake?
18. The issue that Roeder identified within the squad was a lack of leadership. Apart from Taylor (who is due to leave in a fortnight) we have a 18 year old striker, a 21 year old midfielder in the two key areas we really needed to strengthen. Evans and Pattison might be good players, but we have no margin for error and I don''t see a lot of leadership.
19. Explains the thirty threads about Ched Evans....
20.

Midfielder is an overally term i guess but from what ive read he doesnt sound like a left winger.Oh well, its all speculation until we see him in action, i was just giving an opinion on what we potentially could have on our hands here, that being a good midfield partnership.OTBC
well on my part it isn''t speculation, as i have seen him play in the premiership for newcastle. like i said previously, i''m almost totally sure that he played wide left for them. i certainly trust my own memories more than shoddy journalism and random conjecture
That''s nicehttp://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Profiles/0,,10278~30702,00.html"a stocky and aggressive midfielder", so clearly a Huckerby clone.... :-P
21. So whatever happened to "Mr signed for big money and coming soon"I can''t say I''m overwhelmed.
22. According to the official website, the loan window closes on Thursday. So Glenn Roeder has just two days to sort out a squad capable of digging itself out of a rather large abyss, because by January, it could all be too late. Here''s hoping we don''t get another eleventh hour collapse (ala Dave Cotterill last year).
