  1. No I don''t applaud him for what he did either! but booing him is only going to fire him up. How many times have city beaten him or should I say his team he represents, since he left? eg Millwall a couple of seasons ago with the penalty save etc silence wouls be a far better alternative - he will be wondering what''s going on!
  2. Whether he plays or not - and McKenzie as well for that matter. Have we not learned to stop throwing abuse at this guy as he consistantly comes up with the goods against us. Why not applaud him and he''ll have a stinker for a change? We really all of us fall for the ''trap'' every time he comes back to Carrow Road.
  3. Jamie Cureton IS A NCFC LEGEND! He actually WANTS to play for City. It was always a wrench for him when he left. You can see what it means when he has worn the shirt last week. When he scored for Col U last season he didn''t celebrate and the post match interview at Layer Road (when they demolished us 3-0) was full of his desire for Norwich. Its not often these days that players actually play for the love of the club - so give the guy all the credit he deserves. It is hard ''going back'' not many players achieve more second time around but I like so many others really hope Jamie keeps it going. Swindon Reading Bristol Rovers Colchester QPR - He''s done it wherever he''s been (apart from that place in South Korea I can''t spell!)
  4. Definitely the Albion. Bywater, Billy Davies, Giles Barnes, Time Wasting, Feining Injury, Moaning etc etc don''t deserve Premier League Football. Saints were so unlucky the other night. What about Away goals counting double in the play offs? Saints would have gone through. They deserved to on the night. With no such rule, penalty kicks are almost inevitable. Watching Billy Davies afterwards stating that their determination won them the tie was utter rubbish! Who is he kidding?
  5. I have to agree that it is so frustrating when teams resort to play acting and time wasting and certainly it''s not just coincidence that it was Derby. Billy Davies'' Preston were like it throughout last season especially at Carrow Road. Over elaborate celebrations, stupid antics and wind ups etc etc. Whereas I have respect for his achievements, sometimes Davies methods are cynical. Am I right in saying that he''s been sent to the stands on at least two occasions this season? Still City succumbed to the tactics and Peter Grant is right - the players must start using their brains when faced with these type of situations. Call it ''''Winning Ugly'''' but it worked!! Let''s face it Darren Huckerby had their players riled after trying to beat Edworthy and Moore down the left in the first half. Mental toughness is still lacking at Carrow Road and I''m sure Mr Grant will install it. As for the Rams - well they''ve shelled out millions already. Millions would need to be spent to stay up (If they get there!) and millions would be needed after they come down! They would then be back amonst the Maxwell & Pickering years when they nearly went under. Good riddence to them!
  6. Fair point guys - I understand the anti Leeds ethos here but surely If I was Dennis Wise I would be be LIVID with Kevin Nicholls! Here is your club captain who appears not up for the fight! I''d make him suffer in the reserves. The Ridsdale era will haunt Leeds for decades. I''m pretty sure that when they get relegated (and let''s face it, it seems a formality) they''ll go into Administration and suffer a further ten points. They are still paying debts eg Seth Johnson''s £40,000 per week and Robbie Fowler. Yes - I still snigger at the situation but it seems as if the fans have deserted them too. Average gates are less than 20,000. I bet Kevin Blackwell is laughing too!
