1.
Only at Norwich could you get a young player who works hard, wins your player of the season award and still gets slaughtered by so many of the experts on the message boards.
Ultimately we''ve bought him for £600,000, he''s walked away for free. He''s been paid well in excess of £1 million for three years work and is going to warm the bench of another Championship side instead of taking any responsibility for the current mess.Wishing him luck doesn''t come into it. I had absolutely no problems with the likes of Craig Bellamy and Darren Eadie wanting to play at a higher level, but they ensured the club got a very good price for them. Croft has just buggered off at the earliest opportunity. Goodbye Lee Croft, but we certainly didn''t get value for our money.
 2. You also said.......
CT
And if what I have said does happen tomorrow then I''ll be quite happy to divulge more info (although obviously not all of it).....

3.
I think they have debts of about £80m and have postponed building a new stadium because of financial problems but it does illustrate that we are not the only club struggling to find investment.  However unlike us Gaydamak is not going to sell unless he can get all his cash back - apparently why he turned down the offer from Ramon Vega.
Wasn''t Ramon Vega a character from Streetfighter? [:P]
 4.
Other point I''d like to make is following on from Tilly''s post are you posters who don''t live in Norfolk telling us that you dont read the sports sections of the EDP/EEN ''s website and wouldn''t have seen the story that Cam posted???
Ok, for example take the recent 2-0 victory over Cardiff. I read the message board to find out comments for the game, a Pinkun review didn''t appear until the next day. On that basis I''m hardly going to trawl the EEN/EDP sites for news, the Pinkun messageboard is far quicker :-P
 5.
Sammy Clingan will be off whether we stay up or not. Russell and Doc will probably be picked up by lower ranked Championship sides if we go down. If and when we go down with our £20 million + debt, everyone at the club will be up for sale for very reasonable prices. That''s the reality. We are not leicester.
Since Doherty was available on a Bosman last season, and ended up having to take a pay cut I doubt he''s going to leave
 6. Q1: Name this Norwich City playerhttp://www.pinkun.com/assets/images/dynamicfeed/baileym220090224093022.jpgA) Lee CroftB) Jamie CuretonIf you answered (A), congratulations, you work for Archant.... http://www.pinkun.com/content/ncfc/story.aspx?brand=PINKUNOnline&category=Norwich&tBrand=PinkUnOnline&tCategory=Norwich&itemid=NOED24%20Feb%202009%2009%3A09%3A38%3A050
 7.
You also have to remember that Luton are odds on for the Conference League and I can''t imagine either Martin or Lappin will want to ply their craft in that division.
or league 2 for that matter [:P]
 8.
not good enough unfortunately. Surprising no scottish teams or league 1 teams have come in for him though.
They have, they can''t match the wages he''s on at Norwich, so he''s seeing out his contract.
 9. Yes, because we never know which Norwich team is going to turn up [:P]
 10.
A goal is scored by Carl Cort from 35 yards
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/live_text/default.stmSurely some mistake? [:P]
 11.
The contrast between Lupoli and Hoolahan on Friday night gave the clearest indication as to which way Gunn''s mind was working. And, potentially, it involved one of the pair going out of the door. "He was disappointed," said Gunn, as he reviewed Hoolahan''s reactions in an altogether different light. "I know Wesley - and I call him Wesley to wind him up - and he''s passionate. And there''s nothing wrong with that. "And he apologised twice. Once when he came off the pitch at the end of the game and he apologised in the dressing room in front of his team-mates as well. "So I''ve not got a problem with Wes. He''s a little gem of a player and he''ll have a big part to play in us gaining points ongoing. Me and Wes are fine."
http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/full_article.asp?i=4517&w=25&a=0&part=2
 12. There''s sod all in Warwick, it''s snowing very gently, but not laying.
 13. But why oh why did he leave it until the 84th minute to make a substitution? After the first goal was conceded, Pattison for Hoolahan would have given the team more bite and a better shape.
 14. Do we get any money from this? http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1534267,00.html
 15.
I was reading today that Goerge Graham had a very simple transfer policy.
Probably not a good idea to quote the transfer policy of a manager who was charged with receiving payments for signing dodgy players.[:P] Namely John Jensen and Pal Lydersen.
 16.

http://new.edp24.co.uk/content/sport/commentary/FinalWord.aspx
"Plainly City haven''t just scraped the financial barrel, but have now hoisted it up and are busy digging into the ground underneath in the slim hope that something might have been left there by the Romans."Indeed.  Good article and the one piece from any Archant journos which is not prepared to give the board the benefit of the doubt they don''t deserve after the huge gamble on the untried and untested Grant. If they came out and said "look, we''re skint and couldn''t afford anyone else," I''d at least respect them for it.
Whilst I''d agree that Gunn was cheap, he''s missed the key reason, which was motivation. Jamie Cureton was campaign manager and head cheerleader for the appointment, and mentioned that other senior players were campaigning for Gunn as well.
 17.
http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,2483_4836068,00.html   although to be fair their scoring records are fantastic. how come peterborough, a club reletively in the same region as us manage to get this kind of players ahead of us? these three would walk straight into our first team! and people laughed when i suggested peterborough could be a bigger club then us in a couple of season time, but realisticaly they could!
That''s league one though. If you look at players who scored hatfuls there ie Billy Sharp and Luke Varney, neither of them would be considered prolific at championship level
 18. ...and to think that despite all this, that people are "awaiting" the new investment [:P][:P]
 19.
Cant really expand on the relaibility of my source as he has never predicted stuff before however I would be extremely suprised if he was wrong. His father is linked to the clubs finances. That is all I will say on the matter.
His dad drives the Securicor van? [:P]
 20.
These are the only names now linked with the job as my wife has just returned home from at the club!
Whoever would have thought that Wroxham Women''s Institute Bridge Club would be such a mine of information [:P]
 21.
According to sunday people - Fozzy can leave on a free as it was written into his contract that if Roeder left then he could also leave.
Um, Fozzy only signed a year contract, He''s free to sign a pre-contract agreement now with however he wishes. On that basis I can''t see why he or Norwich would have had that clause.
 22.
twiney old farts
Isn''t it past your bedtime [:P]
